I bought a set of bags from the flea market for $20. if you put the straps
under the seat, they'll touch. I just throw them over the seat, and buckle the
straps to the frame where the rear pegs are. Also, be careful when loaded, the
bags might touch and bend the rear turn signals.

removed with 1 screw) is basically two pipes welded together staggered. I have
a jet kit and KN air filter. Mine revs smoothly. No flat spots or hesitations.
The sound? It won't sound like a crotch rochet. For that
they are the same thing. Do some research. I found it for $100. It'll come with
two sets of jets. One for stock and one for aftermarket exhaust.

I replaced the bars on my `91 750. They were slightly bent. My buddy had
supersport like bars that he let me have. I had to get risers to be able to
clear the tank, when in full lock. 1 1/2 inch risers. I am a tall dude so the
new bars are easier on my wrists also.

I would suggest to do a research of local bike shops. Ask around on bike nights
who recomends who. There are many small shops that have been around a while and
have techs who know of the older bikes. Also you can read local bike magazines.

The stock one looks different because it has a guard on it. You should be fine.

When I replaced my exhaust for an aftermarket one, I had to get a little
creative. I think it hooked up to the factory exhaust. Not sure though.
