To the best of my knowledge both the Sigma DG and Tamron Di lenses are full frame 35mm. They are in some way optimised for digital. This is a quote from the description of the 17-35 EX DG: The design concept of this lens is especially suitable for the characteristics of Digital SLR Cameras.

In fact you will still be able to use it with a full frame Pentax - just that the edges of the frame will be black. Maybe this will bring in a new era during which format decisions will go beyond square or rectangular but also be circular as APS lenses get used more and more on full frame bodies!

The plugin doesn't work for Photoshop, only in ThumbsPlus. The raw converter for Photoshop is a different story all together. The ThumbsPlus converter works quite nicely for viewing purposes, but not much more, imo. The reason I use both ThumbsPlus and C1 is that they are quite complimentary.

One problem with all the PEF-enabled browsers, AFAIK, is that they will not write additional EXIF info into the files. ThumbsPlus can do it for other file types, and so can BreezeBrowser, I think. The reason I picked ThumbsPlus over BreezeBrowser was the support for offline archives. However, I
