Can confirm this: 2.1.9 fixed the volume issue. The failure when

Updated LMS to last night's 7.9.1 & tried again. Same issue stuck at
starting & nothing in the log.
As I can't get an answer as to how this is supposed to be installed or

There's not much you have to do: just install the plugin like any
plugin. Then go to Settings/Advanced/Spotty to authenticate.

When I switch in Spotify (runningon my Mac) from one device to another,
they all are playing. But everytime I change the player they start
muted, so I have to set the volume by hand.
I've seen the volume issue, too. But I can't reproduce it at will. Will
keep investigating.

But the info is there: discovery mode is crashing the daemon. Therefore

I used Shuffle from Spotify.
As written earlier today I think shuffle is still broken in the library
I'm using. Hopefully that'll be fixed as soon as I'll be able to switch
code base.

I run LMS on a server running WHS2011. I just made sure I had 2.1.6,
unchecked the box -Don't announce...- and enable connect for my Touch.
Opened Spotify on my MBP, connected my Touch and it started to play
immediately. :)
The only thing I don't get to work is shuffle. When I press the button

Just thought I'd let you know that I have tried this with Apple's
HomePod and appears to work at the moment with early testing. Seems its
using AirPlay 1 at the moment. I use Philippe's brilliant AirPlay bridge
to show the player in LMS.

does seem to work for a while after a restart of the service. If I then
start playing something very quickly it stays like that. But if I

My problem is that a while ago the spotify connect feature became very
"erratic". It sometimes just stops working and then after a couple of
restarts it comes back again. What I noticed is that it never works when
the "disableDiscovery" flag is set to 1. But for some reason it keeps
switching
