Veronica, for me it is more of a personal thing. JAWS does a very good
job at reading screens, and in some cases it does a better job than
Window Eyes.
But, JAWS in my experience has very poor Support for its program, and
they always want Money Money Money for their latest and greatest

eyes. I use those User Windows, in a couple of Set Files I've created
for a couple of programs I use. Without those User Windows, Window Eyes
9.x does not give me the same

There reason, even when they were GW Micro, was they wanted to make sure the
updates were sound, instead of just releasing them before they were done. I
find they have updates more often, and they are not necessarily as sound

The user windows are still there. The hot keys are all undefined by
default. And be sure to set any window hot keys to program scope. They
all default to global.
