I'm so thoroughly unimpressed by this lack of recognition. I never had this
problem before. It's funny too, because I am someone who loves to tweak
settings to make the most of them. I text a lot, and a wide range of people, so
by now

pect it to know so I don’t think reading one’s mind is going to be on the
menu soon.
My guess is that after the update SIRI maybe reset or lost some of what it
learned over time and is starting to built this up again from scratch.

Lastly, I didn't find anyplace to affect the Seeri voice. I switched it
back to the somewhat insipid American female.
