MONTENEGRIN PRESIDENT MILO DJUKANOVIC
WE SHOULD PROTECT OUR INTEREST-OTHERS TO ACCEPT ONLY AS WE CAN

PODGORICA- I truly believe that the European policy will not make any
precedent, depriving the Montenegrins of rights to decide about their
future- Montenegrin President Milo Djukanovic said after yesterday's
meeting with Austrian President Tomas Klestil in Belgrade.

Decision is on the Montenegrins and Montenegro, Djukanovic said, adding
that the Montenegrin state policy should respect its own interests as
well as others.

Montenegro has to renew its state and gain the international
subjectivity, since it's a condition for preservation of the national,
culture and state identity and necessary assumption for dynamic and
European development- Montenegrin President asserted.

This solution can be reached on many ways. One is an agreement and if it
will not be reached then there are other procedures to resolve this
matter democratically. In accordance with the Montenegrin Constitution
referendum is a possible solution- Djukanovic said.

stability and strong relations with Serbia".

The Montenegrin President will give us all information and after that we

Nasuprot
tome, savez nezavisnih, medjunarodno - priznatih drzava, kazao je on
