Nope :

  Sorry , spoke too soon . Even at 1 frame per second the
openGL did not update 100% as needed . Around half the time
the video background was one frame behind the wireframe
at the moment RS3D sent the screen-capture to the encoder .

  It needs some kind of coding to tell the animation not
to advance until the OpenGL finishes it's render for the
current frame (I think) .

  Oh well , excellent learning exercise .
