Hello and welcome to Fridays Levy Letter, I hope your day is ok and that you'll be able to join me tonight at 6.30 for the last Look North of the week. On the programme tonight, after a week many will never forget, well have the latest on our regions recovery from the devastating floods.
Emergency pumping operations continue today to try to save the communities to the East of Hull from severe flooding. Of course we'll be live throughout the day with the latest. We'll be assessing the impact of the flooding on school children across the region. Thousands may have to be taught in alternative locations, you can imagine the kind of disruption that will cause. And away from the floods, all eyes will be on the skies above RAF Waddington, Lincolnshire - not for the rain, but for the planes! We'll report from the annual Waddington Air Show. And of course we'll have the weather forecast for the weekend, everybodys holding their breaths to know what weve got in store so Im sure you wont want to miss that. Thats all coming up as usual on Look North today. Thanks for all the emails and all the photos this week, its been one of the busiest weeks I can remember for Look North and Radio Humberside in many a year. Thanks to everyone who has sent emails and photos - we are most grateful. Ads With its simple lyrics and very catchy tune it became one of the most successful TV commercials in history.
