I have the Nest 3 and have no issues with it. When it goes down, it's quite easy to pull it off the wall, wait a few minutes and reseat it at which point it auto restarts. The Nest 3 runs on two triple AAA batteries, unlike older Nest systems. Were I buying today, I would also look at Honeywell.
