Love to see the pattern for the roller mount. Might even steal it if you

Funny little story about Butch Ulmer...the U in UK.
Many many moons ago, when I was 12, I stepped aboard a 1972 C C 35 (the owner
went on to buy a 38 on which I crewed and then a 40, by which time I had moved
on to girls, cars and beer) as a Foredeck Ape.
We had a full set of Ulmer Sails
Yup, I have seen all color combination to and for Bermuda as well...
Anchor lights with Tricolor...
Tricolor with deck level nav lights...
Steaming light with tri-color...
Nav lights with no steaming light (when under power)
Wrong. wrong Wrong.
Very confusing when two fleets encounter each
really confuses things is
when some guys light their steaming lights so they can see their teltales.

In years past I have. Pretty funny in the middle of the ocean.
This year we actually did a # 1 to a #2 sail change and had two competitors on
my windward hip and we promptly started to climb up and away! 250 miles out.
Pretty funny.

Andy,
Due to the nature of the locker rim and lid lip design I tried and failed with
a few gaskets.
I just secured the hasp offshore and was prepared to live with whatever water
got down there.
We have been pooped before, but I don't remember if it caused an undo amount of
water
My new refrigeration is doing quite well. However I would like to better
circulate air within the box to equalize temps. Trying to avoid hard wiring
and want to know if anyone has found a low amp battery powered fan that I can
turn on when needed without a lot installation hoopla...
Thanks
To drill down a wee bit deeper vis a vis autopilots and interfaces. Call me a
Luddite, but I have never been a fan of plotters directly (or blindly) feeding
autopilots when there are strong variables (wind, current, etc) involved. I
like to be the interface so I know what is going on in case
Thanks to all for the ideas. I like the VHF start idea and race score as
compensation may work too. Regatta Pro is one of the systems I have been looking
at.
Once upon a time before I joined the club there were 6 permanent marks placed
each year and each race they picked the best windward
I used simple dacron braided and stripped the core for the line that wraps on
the furling drum. It helps lay the line flat and reduces problems in the drum.

Yes its an oxymoron but a friend of mine owns a Bristol 30 that is sitting in
their backyard gathering leaves etc. (although she is shrink-wrapped).
Would like to find it a good home for very short money (if any at all...not
clear yet). My understanding is take it and fix it up (I don't think
don’t do it often either.
