to be completely safe, when making edits to old images, I would suggest
duplicating those images first (within darktable) and working on the
duplicates. again, just to be safe.

modified externally (not by dt), affected images ne
the developers keep track of items to address.

gmail does not display duplicate msgs.
if you post to darktable list using gmail, gmail will show the msg you
post, but not the one darktable list posts as they are duplicates to
gmail's way of looking.
