A chilly wet week began the rainy season. Quite early this year but
the forecast is for little sun and more rain. Luckily it doesn't get
too wet to work outside and the cool temperatures are good for cutting

my K3. The ARRL VHF Contest was on and I have no 6M antenna but long
ago I found my 160M antenna works nicely as far as a match goes for

problem. Oregon and Washington had a little weather earlier this week.
Said weather dropped a large amount of very wet snow on the fir trees
holding my antennas. The limbs in some of the trees failed and broke.

level mounts. Winter finally arrived and decided to drop about two feet

turned to slush and slid down my neck. With the temperature right near
