HI all
I am going to make a statement and then after that I will explain why I
made the statement.
Ok, so my statement is the following:
It was the intention of james north to make the bonus level of monkey

And there

Hi tom
Do you plan to add roling bolders to mota?
It would be fun to try escape a roling bolder.
I think a good sound for a roling bolder is a sound similar to the
sound in ten pin alley, the sound of the ball rolling to the pins.
I do not expect you to use the sound in ten pin alley but a
That's a standard feature in the GMA engine. I don't think Phil could really
do much about that without tinkering with the engine itself.

Exactly. That's basically what I was getting at. It would just be so much
quicker and therefore harder that it would probably make the complaints
you've been getting about the latest Beta of Mota seem like nothing. That of
course would probably make the developer who tried the experiment,
Not only that but there would be financial considerations as well as you
well know. I for one couldn't see a graphics designer, unless perhaps you
knew him or her very very well personally, agreeing to put time and effort
into your project for little to no financial gain of their own.

She was also a goddess of war was she not? I know Ares was the principle war
god but I remember that Athena, as a strategist, was said to also be

Homer: Hey, uh,
There was a big debate about that on the Entombed discussion list a few

And of course it's all the more noticeable because we're such a small
community. I bet mainstream devs get nasty comments like that all the time
but they can just shrug it off because they've probably got lots of folks
there who can just hit the delete button or handle the comments however they
Hi Nicol,
Pacman talks does have a save along with the Sarah game but not in the demo
level.
With Sarah you need to find the time turner first before saving.
As Thomas wrote, saving is a kind of cheat but one that is necessary in a
long playing game.

Just a slight correction or two. Although Josh sells the original James

versions of those titles and they do have some fixes and enhancements.
So I respectfully disagree with your statement.
Many thanks.

Nicol, I beg to differ with you. I do know Josh has made some changes to
James North's titles. The changes haven't necessarily been major, but
there have been some changes made here and there to keep them somewhat
up to date.

Hi Bryan, yes it is. As it happens the save game feature is a standard

the save game feature will effect all other games built with the same
engine. So that's another goodreason why I am reluctant to modify it for

old main menu reviews kelly did back when the games were in ESP softworks
the exit sound was a buzzlike thing, the new titles are using a longer,

Hi, definitely. Take my version of Montezuma's Revenge verses the
mainstream game released in 1984 as an example here.
In my version enemies would only do about 25% damage on the beginner
level and would only be updated once a second or so. That's an eternity
for a mainstream vidio game. It
Hi, yes she was a goddess of war. Athena was very active in the Trojan

Hi,
Minusing a save feature is good for some games--however, with a lot of other
games the games are simply too long to not include a save feature. We have
to account for the player having a life outside of the game as well. Plus,
getting so far and then losing, and losing again and again
