If you want ot do it under windows I think it can be done, you just have to use
forms mode of some kind to get to the edit field.
You can also use an external irc client like mirc to connect to the core-exiles

You will first need to get the rope, then approach the librarian. You
will then get hte message that you need another item, then you can get
the tapestry piece.
