I haven't played the game in quite a while, but as I recall, if you line things up absolutely perfectly, you can actually knock out at least one of the prison bots (I'm thinking the one near the elevator and the one at the terminal) without getting hit. My strategy was to first head for the guy by the elevator. If you can't here the robot it won't shoot you, so if you're quick you can use side steps to make sure that you're aimed right at it before you walk into its range. Then all you have to do is shoot. For the bot by the computer, if I remember rightly he's standing right in front of the door. Open it, shoot once, and hammer your walk backwards button. If its done right, he'll be chasing you through the door, which lines him up perfectly for your follow-up shot. This is a bit of a rambling post, but hopefully it gives you some pointers. its a beta. as far as I know there was no release of anything new since it first came out back when it did I think 2007 or 2006. anyway there is an unofficial mod for it on the klango forums somewhere that runs you as probably john conner from the terminator series. story is the same but thats what it is. though I have been listening to a friend playing judgementday and the fact of the matter is that the chopper is supposed to be shot down by the bots and then the game continues. however this game has it ending at the copter. so there is potential for more levels. [Audyssey] Technoshock help level 2
Hi could someone help me with Technoshock level2? After I take the medkit and hit the switch on level2 a door opens I hear a loud alram sound then fireballs hit me and I get killed! I tried ducking and that works but I don't go anywhere and the fireballs don't stop coming. What do I do? Hi everyone I am trying again to play Technoshock but am having problems with the second level, in that when I get out of the lift I get hit by fire when an alarm sounds. There doesn't seem to be a lot of helpfull hints or advice on gameplay around, so I hope someone can give me a helping hand. It's a good game basically but maybe a bit too many acid pits which don't seem to fit the game. Hello, I have a question and a code you can try. the question is how do I disable the electricity in story four? I flicked the switch by going to a bunch of pits. I came to the switch but was unable to cross because of so many pits. So, I shot towards the switch, and a teleporter came beside me. I teleported to the other side of the pits, and flicked the switch. Buthwhen I weht back where I started. the doors were locked adn electrified. IDK what a spoiler is, but here is a cheat. Type tiflocomp.ru. You can do this in the game, type it slowly. Sometimes it does not work. Hello List, I am still on level 5 of technoshock having restarted the game, and I just obtained the yellow and blue keys, but where might I find the red key? I went through the area where the fireballs were, and i'm now in a room with a door where if I walk too close it kills me do to a trap. any solutions? Sky. p.s. Hello List. I've just started all over, and i'm on back on level 5 of Technoshock. My question is, after getting the robots, where do I go next? There's a free area off to the right, and I went to that area hoping to find something, but it turns out that there's fireballs in that area, and sometimes I lose the game as I'm not ducking fast. I'm at 40% and need to get back up to 100%. The only door in the free area is the termimal. I must tell you guys that on my xp laptop once I mammaged to find a room with the syburg man and woman in it but that was two years ago since I found that door and I can't remember what I did to find it. [Audyssey] Technoshock help
ello list. I am on level 4 of Technoshock. The problem I am having right now is that i'm in a room with 2 pits in front of me, and a switch. However, if I atempt to jump over one of the pits, rather than getting safely on the other side, I fall right down the second pit. I'm 0 meeters from the first pit, and 1 meeters from the second pit, and 3 meeters from the switch. Any suggestions? I mammaged to go to the end of level 4 once but this was 2 years ago and I have forgotten how I got around the pits. It is unfortunate that the developer seems to have discontinued work on the game. Despite the extremely high frustration factor, at least for me, the game did have a great deal of potential. I never did get past story 3 though. Hi. Someone on the audiogames.net forum reported that the Technoshock homepage is down. I put the setup files for both the game and update patch into a zip folder and stuck them on sendspace, but obviously that's just a temporary solution. [Audyssey] Technoshock Tips
Hey gamers. Just last night, I downloaded the game Technoshock. I'm quite impressed with the sound quality, but am having serious trouble DOING anything. I've gotten the axe, but I can't even find the door. The problem is that my navigator will tell me something's right in front of me but I cannot pick it up. Now, I haven't downloaded the update pack, so maybe that's the problem. Otherwise, do you have any tips? I personally lost interest in Technoshock fairly quickly, even though I've been hankering for a more challenging audio game for years. But I can answer your initial question. Remember that when you start in that first room there's a force field that'll kill you instantly if you touch it? That's what that switch you found is for. well its supposed to make a sound. go back to the room where you got the axe. The forcefield is down, you should be able to go to the lift. There is a couple more guards I think, oh and a computer you need to get a code from that. and then well there is another scope thing and the lift and a mosquito bot which you don't want to run in to. push enter to open the lift then up arrow. Personally though ts really didn't get me going. Mainly because on story2 I was not able to get passed the fireballs, almost impossible and well. I lost interest to. Mainly because of not many audio cues. And the fact that when you pick up medkits they get used automatically. I'd like to use em when I want to. And when you die you just restart. And well, I doubt acid pits would be in every room, every hallway. Also there is no real way once you are amongst the fireballs to know where you are supposed to go. And not much audio cuing or extra scanners. I know I'm supposed to find something in one of the rooms off the conveyer that will activate radiation near the teleporters. I haven't found any radiation but did find the yellow and the blue keys. I know there is something that I'm missing off one of these rooms and I'm now wondering if it has to do with mosquito robots I've found in both the beginning room and the room where I found the yellow key. I'd like to know because I used up all my insect spray on story 4 and might have to start over if it's the bugs I'm missing. Thanks for any info in advance. Hi Janet and your all. I really understand your frustrations to find the right way in TechnoShock. I can help you alot with a little hint you can use in most of 3d games: If it's possable to walk in all 4 directions in a game and if you can sidestep, don't turn around with your arrow keys when you come to a wall. Yes, you do it in the real life, but it's not a good idea in games. Why not? Here comes an example: You are heading north. You walk forword in a hallway, and come to a wall. You turn right with your right arrow key until you can walk forword again. The next time you come to a wall. You notest there is hallways to the left and right. You turn left and walk forword. You continue and you know you have turned: left 3 times, right 6 times. Hmm, where are you in this large map??? I think you are very lost too. Lets try with sidestep: You are heading north. You walk forword in a hallway, and come to a wall. You walk right useing sidestep until you can walk forword again. The next time you come to a wall. You notest there is hallways to the left and right. You walk left and walk forword. You continue and you know you have walk: left 3 times, right 6 times. Now you are at the same point you are, if you just turn in the directions. But what is the difference? If you have lost your directions and you don't know where you are, you know one thing: You are still heading north because you have not turned into another direction. Therefore, you know where you are at the map, you have a little idea about where the different hallways are, and you have a very big chance to find the right way back to your startpoint again. I hope some of you can use this little hint so you can find the right way in the different games. I hope it makes sence for you all. It it doesn't make sence, I hope someone can explain it in other ways. I'm not very good to give out describtions in english. If someone can use this little hint, I'll be glat to hear from you. You need to find the blue key and then get out of the door. [Audyssey] Technoshock question -haven't responded in a while
Hi folks. My name is Chris. I've been lurking on here for a while, but haven't posted on a while. I've been playing Technoshock and have a little question. I'd like to know how to find the terminal in Storey 2. I actually did it once and made it to Storey 3, but saved the wrong games by mistake and had to start over. Now I'm stock in the room with the blames and the prison doors just off the main room where the pit is. I think the entrance to the terminal room is in that area, but can't find it.
