I'm not sure if this is your problem, but I wasn't sure if you saw my
post. Cheers, --Jerry - http://www.MerriamFamilyTree.org

Hi Jerry
I was creating the GEDCOM for Legacy option.
It seems the problem I had was something to do with loading the customised
list I had saved. I have contacted Sherry
Of course, I met put the name of the COUNTRY and SURNAMES in ALL CAPS - I
did not say that quite right. Thanks. --Jerry

want to do is to download the free version of PAF, since
you are concerned how your transfer would come across from Legacy to
PAF, and experiment a bit with that. Just a suggestion...

Hi David. I like your use of the ? and I do something very similar.
But would you mind giving me a couple examples of what you place in the
LAST NAME field and what you place in the FIRST NAME FIELD, so I'm sure
of what you are doing? Thanks,
Jerry Boor - http://www.MerriamFamilyTree.org
Thanks for those samples, David. What I could not quite figure out is
how you are using the FIRST NAME and LAST NAME fields, from your
examples, but it gives me the idea of what you are doing. Thanks, --Jerry

But I don't understand why so many on the list have apparently opted to
just be stingy and not share their work with others. True, you should
be given credit for the work you've done, but why not be willing to
share with your extended family? I don't get it...
