crowd tutorial?

2013-12-03 Thread Chris Marshall
Hi All, I'm delving a little deeper into crowds, just wondering if there are any decent tutorials out there? I've watched the 3 simple ones by Soft, but could do with assistance on some more advanced stuff. Thanks Chris

Sorry, re-read your post and now can see the script. That's cool, but I have a merged object which contains about 3000 cubes (could go even higher), generated with ICE using Grahame Fullers Convert Instances to Mesh compound. On 28 November 2013 11:30, Chris Marshall chrismarshal...@gmail.com

2013-11-27 Thread Chris Marshall
Hi All, After managing to get a frozen poly mesh from hundreds of ICE cubes, what I need to do now is perform something like a boolean union on them all (though they are a single merged polygon), a bit like polygonizer but without the round corners. Any tools out there that could do that? Thanks

for some unknown reason. Does 1000 instances sound like it should be 'that' slow? The problem I have is I had hoped to apply this to a pointcloud with about 50,000 instances. Thanks On 13 November 2013 23:04, Chris Marshall chrismarshal...@gmail.com wrote: Sorry Grahame, hadn't seen that thread
