Neh, unfortunately the Render Tree in Modo is not node based. I works more like Photoshop layers, just like in Lightwave, but a bit more advanced. There are some advantages over the Render Tree in Softimage, but even in a medium complex scene it becomes extemely flaky and very confusing. -Ron
