You can turn passcode off. Go to Settings and then to Touch ID and Passcode. Type in your code and once it lets you in, there is an option to turn it off. It will ask for your passcode again and once you type it in again, it will be turned off and you won't have to enter it again.

Hi Davy, my setting was set to “Always” and it didn’t work, i switched the setting to “never” and back to “Always” and now it works like it used to. I will say that the phone behaved strangely for about 30 seconds when I first switched the setting to “Never”. Hopefully this helps someone.

Hi all, Thanks, Mark, I thought it was the “Store” button which I guess is in the messaging dock. Anyhow, I now found the correct cutton and was able to hide that dock, just as Anna said, I went to the mail app afterwards and opened a message and all the buttons along the bottom were there.
