I willl stop looking at password apps and just check that I am logged in before

case I have the password written on a card I keep in my wallet! (Don’t tell

Have you checked all your devices ?
Because it will arrive on a different device to the one you are logged onto.
Apple send it to one of your other devices to make sure it really is you.
How did Apples message say it would be sent? SMS, iMessage, eMail ?
Also I am not sure what you mean
It should arrive as a text, according to Apple Help.

Pat, if you change your Apple password, it is universal. That becomes the

Hi Paul,
Have you tried signing out of your Apple ID and then signing back in again.
Open iTunes
In the menu bar- Go to Store Sign Out
Then Sign in again
See if that sorts the password problem out.
Cheers,
Ronni
