Anytime the budget allows it I run wires. Wireless is great but there's no
guarantee of service as it's unlicensed. Yes we can do a very good job by
buying good gear and being smart about the design etc. But.

You do NOT have 3 dB of connector loss unless you
are totally screwing up the connectors. The actual loss is something like
.1 dB of loss per connector. I usually count them as 0 just to be
safe.

30 dB radio with a 6 dB antenna. For every one db of radio tx dB you drop

Go to the online calculator and figure up the losses on your cable. Be sure

I'd not even count the connectors as loss, they are usually in the .1 to .5
