It's probably a "Run Process" that mimics the button being pushed.
Those are pretty common all through out the application. You'll see it
with the field ID of the button in question in the workflow logs - so
just log it and search for that button field ID.

I've never done a progress bar.
I did set up a pop-up window once that said "X of Y processed" and put
workflow in the guide that updated it on every iteration.
It's been long enough ago now that I no longer have the code (and I

SLM can't just be un-installed. That's the bad news.
The good news is it can be removed (which is very hard and time
consuming) and it can be re-installed.
In this particular case I'd contact BMC support and ask for the SLM

My gut feeling is to just archive off all of the records that are closed
and refer the reporting people to that table when they want to run
reports; however, I have not yet investigated the ramifications of doing
this.

Can you defined "entered some service desk tickets..." a little more?
Did they enter them from the Support Console? From the Requester
Console?
Typically I'd start this with user-side API/AL/Filter logs - you may
have to put them in the admin group (or change the client side logging
group) but s
