Entourage - it's simple and clean; if I want the rare additional
functionality, I can generally get it with AppleScript. Maybe this sort of
option would be better placed in a Message Properties type of window with
more advanced options that are less used by the average consumer.

The SMTP server I use had some problems earlier today in that some messages
went through that didn't appear to (which I resent) and some messages didn't
go through even though they were in my Sent Items folder. I apologize
about any duplicates or extra messages.

when I quit the application normally
(command-Q). I have re-installed the application several times and I have
performed a ³Typical Rebuild² and and ³Advance Rebuild² neither of which solve

In OS 10.2, Sherlock and the File - Find were separated. Command-F will
open the Find window, but opening Sherlock or scripting that task will not.

a note to anyone transfering Entourage contact to Address Book: It
seems you can not drag more than 220 contacts at a time from Entourage to
the finder to create vcf files. Or at least I couldn't.

go to Entourage - Mail and News Preferences, click the Read tab, then
uncheck the box to Allow network access when displaying complex HTML.
Entourage then won't download these external files but will work online.

think this is the script you want, as it switches work and home
postal addresses rather than e-mail addresses.
(PS: The copy-paste might not work correctly from the Safari beta. If you
experience problems, try copying from Internet Explorer into Script Editor.)

be the active one, and Entourage would
no longer recognize it. You would have needed to have moved the Microsoft
User Data folder from the old Documents folder to the current Documents
folder for Entourage to be able to access your identity.

Service Release 1 at the latest). However, you are probably correct that
10.1.2 includes new machine ID information, though I don't think that caused
the problem you experienced.
