LOL, look at the rest of your posts tonight, it utterly kills me that you think
a casual observer will look at your Bawee obsession as the product of a
healthy mind and one that's been doing TM for decades, and not only that has
attained some sort of spiritual goal!

You bring up a good point, Salyavin. WHY would someone obsess the way Jimbo
(fleetwood_macncheese) does about little ol' ME? I mean, he seemingly can't
make it through a single day without writing some made-up tirade about me. Now
if he were just a normal, everyday person, that could be construed as normal,
everyday obsession, like Ann's or Judy's or Steve's. But Jim (as he never seems
to tire of telling everyone) is ENLIGHTENED. Think about the *implications* of
someone enlightened spending much of his online time obsessing on someone like
me as Jim spends.

We all know, for example, that Jimbo has claimed not just to be in CC (Cosmic
Consciousness, or the first stage of enlightenment, for the lurking reporters)
but in Unity or Brahman Consciousness (the highest rungs of the TM
consciousness ladder). He's claimed this many, many, many times. We *also* know
that Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, who Jimbo claims as his teacher, said many, many,
many times that anyone who is truly in the state of Unity Consciousness or
Brahman Consciousness can manifest all of the siddhis (mystical powers, such as
invisibility and levitation - flying).

Therefore, if Jimbo is telling the truth and really IS in Unity Consciousness
or Brahman Consciousness, he can FLY. Presumably he spends much of his time
entertaining his neighbors in the trailer park they live in by levitating for
them. Jim also KNOWS pretty much everything, as he never delights in telling
us. He goes to great lengths to point out that someone enlightened the way he
is doesn't just believe things, he KNOWS them, because he's...uh...well...just
that SPECIAL. As he also never stops telling us, people as enlightened as he is
are very rare. He tells us quite often, in fact, that he's the ONLY fully
enlightened being on this forum.

But this is the part that puzzles me. If Jimbo is all that special and
powerful, able to FLY and all that, *WHY* does he spend so much of his time
obsessing on a lowlife like myself?

Could it possibly be that I'm not just yer ordinary lowlife but...S A T A N ?

That's the only thing I can think of that would warrant the amount of time Jim
spends obsessing about me, and how upset he seems to get any time anyone says
anything positive about me. He's not really just stalking and harassing
someone he doesn't like...by stalking me he's waging war against evil
protecting FFL and the world against S A T A N.

Yeah...that's the ticket. It all finally makes sense now, doesn't it? :-)

To usher in the Age of Enlightenment as soon as possible it was vital to
initiate as many as possible, old and young, sick and healthy. What could be
done with people with slight or hidden mental problems they were not even ready
to admit to themselves much less to the Initiator ? Nothing, one could only
hope for the best.

[FairfieldLife] Rooted in Peace, a film by Greg Reitman

2014-10-10 Thread nablusoss1008
Sundance award-winning green filmmaker, Greg Reitman, takes us on a cinematic
journey to take notice, stop the cycle of violence, and seek ways to find
personal and ecological peace. ROOTED IN PEACE challenges viewers to examine
their values as Americans, and as human beings. Today we are at war within
ourselves, with our environment, and with the world, and it’s up to each of us
to make peace with ourselves, and our planet. Employing both memoir and
interviews with such luminaries and activists as Deepak Chopra, music legends
Donovan, Mike Love, and Pete Seeger, film director David Lynch, Nobel Peace
Laureate Mairead Maguire, media mogul Ted Turner, Archbishop Desmond Tutu,
green architect William McDonough, neuroscientist Dan Siegel and many others,
Reitman heeds former guru Maharishi Mahesh Yogi’s words: “If the forest is to
be green, every tree must be green, if there’s going to be Peace on earth then
everybody must need to feel that quality of Peace” Reitman poses the basic
question: How do we want to live? And asks viewers to do the same.

wgm, I think ultimate relaxation means something like surrender, maybe what
Byron Katie calls loving what is.

The important point I think, is that we can, even in a moment of upset, relax
physically by following our breathing. Then the mind and emotions automatically
relax too.

Doing this over and over creates a state of more lasting relaxation in the
body. Which gets reflected in the mind and emotions. Maybe not the full monty,
but pretty darn good (-:

I think Share, for God to put us through all of this, it's got to more than
just an 'ultimate relaxation'. You know that; it is described as Sat (Truth)
Chit (Conscious..) Ananda (Bliss or eternal happiness), Yogananda calls it
'ever new joy'.

TC is more than just No thought and NO mantra...really? (Don't know whether
to laugh or cry). People, including TM instructors, take MMY's analogies too
far!, they're just teaching tools! Some day Share, if you keep meditating, you
will have a clear experience of transcendental consciousness and you'll NEVER
forget it, NEVER! It will be an explosion of happiness and bliss like you've
never experienced before, now that's worth infusing...

We should be happy and grateful that we transcend just a little, but it's not
the 'full monty', if you will.

From my own experience I agree with this 100%. I notice that the more relaxed
I am in activity, the more loving I feel. It's not rocket science!

Sometimes if I need to settle down in activity, I'll simply track my next five
breaths. No trying to slow it down. No trying to deepen it. Just paying
attention to my next five breaths. So far, it works every time.

perceiving a house in the distance, enough to know it's not a tree (or words to
that effect).

My point being, even if you only experience a MOMENT of bubbling bliss, it is
so enrapturing everything else pales in comparison, he apparently/perhaps
obviously didn't even have that! Which would be the common experience of most
TMers In short, SC was not transcending, nor do most meditators, deal with it!

No thought, no mantra and NO bliss equals NO transcendental consciousness! As,
even a moment of that bliss is more rewarding than all of worldly pleasures one
could have in a lifetime, combined. How do I know, OK, I experienced it ONCE.
During TM I fell asleep and awoke on the other side of deep sleep, it was pure
bliss (I don't even know if that would qualify as transcending other than I had
that incredible experience.

Think of the bubble diagram, the transcendental is beyond relativity, it IS
enlightenment. IMHO

When
I think about sitting in a place that had an association with Dylan,
I’m reminded of the impact he had. I tend to be influenced creatively by
everything I hear that I like, but Dylan remains the songwriter who has
had the greatest effect on my music. When The Freewheelin’ Bob Dylan hit
Ottawa in the summer of 1963, our little group of folkies all had to
learn “Don’t Think Twice, It’s All Right,” “Blowin’ in the Wind,” “Hard
Rain,” and “Masters of War”: these are brilliantly written songs that
were shaking not just our world, but the world. When Dylan went
electric, he did it again. At the time a few folk purists moaned about
how they’d been let down by Dylan plugging in, but the rest of the world
got it. This was an electric moment! And I don’t mean the guitar. By
this time Dylan’s songwriting had evolved to its most masterful level.
“Desolation Row,” from Highway 61 Revisited, came out in 1965, and in my
mind it remains one of the best songs ever written. The following year
Dylan released Blonde on Blonde, with “Visions of Johanna” and “Sad Eyed
Lady of the Lowlands.” No one has ever written songs better than these.
The influence I got from Dylan was less stylistic than it was
motivational: Look at what you can do. Look at how broad the field is;
you can do any damn thing. You can be as wordy as you want. I’ve always
liked words.

Friday afternoon off, I'm sitting in a cafe listening to the three Dylan songs
that Bruce mentioned. He was right on about that, BTW. If there is a Top Ten
Best Songs Ever Written, these three are all on it. Here they are, if you feel
like listening, too.

Thank you very much for this program! San Francisco is an amazing city and
everything helps keep it that way. Please do not be overly concerned by some

LOL, look at the rest of your posts tonight, it utterly kills me that you
think a casual observer will look at your Bawee obsession as the product of a
healthy mind and one that's been doing TM for decades, and not only that has
attained some sort of spiritual goal!

Signed,

Dear bawee, as much as you'd like to think you are a bad boy, even bordering
on some sort of upsetting evil influence you are not one of the big boys. Leave
the really bad stuff to those who are really bad. As I mentioned the other day,
evil is interesting so that, unfortunately, excludes you.

Great idea! Here's mine:

He removed his scuba regulator, “What a perfectly fine day!” Fleetwood
exclaimed, as he looked approvingly around in his undersea club house.
Well, actually, from the outside, it was a shipping container, inside a
swimming pool. He was already thinking of painting it purple and orange. “Maybe
I'll compose a song in here, underwater...”

After awhile, he got out, dried off, and then it was time to do some
bushwhacking – suiting up, in a t-shirt, jams, and flip flops, he billy goats
down the wild side of his property, cuts a cord of oak with the chainsaw, and
films three deer, as they pose for him, in the trees. Then he talks to them,
explains that Guru Dev is nearby, and they nod, making ear gestures in deer
language to each other, indicating this one is a few cans short of a six-pack.

Back up to the house, rummaging in the fridge for some lunch – Aha, some
chili, mashed potatoes, with champagne and ice cream! That'll do...Then
settling in for The Price Is Right, and possibly Family Feud, with Steve
Harvey. Everybody wins.

Later on, a refreshing one hundred laps in the pool, the last ten done walking
ON the water. Then, after a quick shower he readies himself for one of his
greatest feats, rappelling down the side of his single story house. Just then
the side door opens, “Honey, what are you doing?!?! Anyway, your daughter is on
the phone...don't break anything...”

One more note, Mr. Nameless Director of Operations, your assertion on funding
by the NIH - to be funded by the NIH, rigorous assessment is
performed by highly experienced scientists. If the research was bogus or deeply
flawed, the research would not be funded or published.

This is, quite honestly complete bullshit. All one has to do to get funding by
the NIH is to know how to write a grant proposal. That's it.

Here are just a few things the NIH has funded over the years, some of them
nearly as stupid as funding research on TM.

The National Institutes of Health paid researchers $400,000 to find out why
gay men in Argentina engage in risky sexual behavior when they are drunk.

Researchers at Indiana
University's Kinsey Institute, funded by NIH, investigated why “young
heterosexual adult men have problems using condoms.” Price tag? $423,500,
according to NIH records.

The NIH also once spent $442,000 to study the behavior of male prostitutes in
Vietnam.

The NIH once spent $800,000 in “stimulus funds” to study the impact of a
“genital-washing program” on men in South Africa.

I realize that your much vaunted master Mahesh Prasad lied like a dog all the
time, so it could be you are lying as is our tradition but for your own sake,
at least make the prevarications somewhat credible.

Francisco that uses TM, where the students were found to be the happiest in the
city. I would like to try and correct some misunderstandings that may have
occurred as a result of certain comments made here recently.

 1. There is a post that suggest we 'stole' couches from a one of the high
schools we
worked in.

This is incorrect. We
purchase used couches from outside sources, specifically for the Quiet Time
program. We own
them.

2. That the windows and
doors in the rooms we used at a high school were papered over so that no one
could
see in, and that the school had to remove the papering after we left.

A single door to a small
room was partially papered only during training sessions to reduce the
distraction from other students walking by during passing period. This paper
was taken down each day, and was not remaining after the meditation training
staff left the school.

3. That we had
been kicked out of at least 2 schools in SF since Jan of this year.

One school decided to
discontinue the Quiet Time program at the end of the spring semester due
primarily to a vote from faculty regarding time constraints. There are
many schools throughout CA and nationally requesting the program, so we only
work with those that are able to fit it into their schedule. After providing
this to 7,000 students, teachers, parents and administrators for the last 7
years, we have had over a 90% program satisfaction rating. An extremely small
minority of parents, teachers and administrators have had issues with the
program, usually
because of biases or misunderstandings.

4. That most of the
research referenced by the TM organization is either bogus or deeply
flawed

There are over 100
studies on TM published in reputable, peer reviewed scientific journals
indicating various positive mental and physical health effects. Research
has been done at Stanford, Harvard, University of California and other
reputable institutions. The National Institutes of Health (NIH) has funded over
24M worth of research into TM and heart health. In order to be published in
peer reviewed journals or to be funded by the NIH, rigorous assessment is
performed by highly experienced scientists. If the research was bogus or deeply
flawed, the research would not be funded or published.

hemming her in. With immense relief flowing into the place where fear had
resided moments earlier she vows to make a trip to the pound first thing in the

you can’t have too many dogs and the husband can find room on the guest bed if
necessary. As it is, he’s in deep shit for all of those nudes he’s been
snapping up in the studio above the barn. What, does he think - that she's
blind? Those models are young and firm and beautiful - that’s it, she fumes-
forget the guest bedroom, he can have the doghouse (yet to be built).

3:15, 3:30, 4:00am and no sleep seems destined to return on this early morning
so, in anticipation of catching Barry in some flagrant lie or odious posting,
she leaps to her feet scattering the snoozing pooches, and heads to the office
and her computer. With eager anticipation Ann studies the screen. FFL exists in
her mind as that sacred place where she once again connected with her old cult
leader Robin, and who she secretly yearns would allow her to once again sit at
his feet and gaze up into his intriguing visage in order to hang on with
adoration his every word. Those were the days, if only she could once more be
back there with him, in the glow of his consciousness and his charisma.

But, Barry must never know this, no one must know this. Just like they must
never realize that Ann is secretly planning on attending the Mother Divine
course in Fairfield. They must never know that she channels Maharishi while
seated in full lotus in front of her shrine to all things TM or that she offers
healing sessions using lead-based body painting sessions while yodeling in
Yiddish. All of it must remain a secret from her friends at FFL. Dwelling on
this, she is unaware that the time has passed so quickly and now it is time to
don her overalls and gum boots and head out to do the barn chores. As she picks
up the pitch fork and scoops the first large poop pile she can find she sighs
and is relieved no one knows the truth - she is only a poop picker- she has
never sat on a real horse in her life. Oh, how we can create perfect lives via

Having slept in her jodphurs, and helmet, she pulled on her boots by the side

Owls cooing in the pre-dawn, she opens up the barn, and quickly takes two
horses through their paces, a boot atop each equine's back, a quarter mile
round the track, in pitch darkness - even the horses are wearing night-vision
goggles. Then a double somersault dismount, and it is time for early tea.
Glancing back at the house, she sees a profusion of light flashes from the
attic...Dennis is up...
Bustling about the kitchen, in no time, a breakfast feast appears, tea,
crumpets, toast, jam, and a fully dressed twenty pound turkey, fresh from the
oven. Outside the dogs bark, and an Emu peeks in the window...

[FairfieldLife] Important Call to Action--FAIRFIELD RESIDENTS

2014-10-10 Thread 'Rick Archer' r...@searchsummit.com [FairfieldLife]
Dear Friends,

Hog confinements are increasing in Southeast Iowa, driven by China’s growing
pork demand. The threat to Jefferson County is real. We must do all in our
power to stand up to this menace. Fortunately for us, Jefferson County Farmers
Neighbors, Inc. (JFAN) is leading the fight to preserve our quality of life
and community. If it weren’t for JFAN’s efforts over these past nine years,
Jefferson County would likely be overrun with CAFOs by now.

The JFAN Annual Meeting is just around the corner. JFAN has put together a
dynamite meeting featuring three powerful champions of communities and the
environment. It’s Time to Change ‘Business As Usual’ will take place next
Wednesday, October 15, at 7:30 pm at the Fairfield Arts Convention Center.

National food and farm advocate Wenonah Hauter, Executive Director of Food
Water Watch, will address how a handful of powerful agricultural corporations
have profoundly influenced the US political system. As a result, we have
agricultural policies that favor industrial livestock production at the expense
of people and the environment. Hauter’s message includes how people can and
must transform the present system from “business as usual’ to “business that
benefits all.”

Back by popular demand, nationally renowned environmental attorneys Charlie
Speer and Richard Middleton will join Fairfield attorney and JFAN president
David E. Sykes to present an important legal update on CAFO activities in
Jefferson and surrounding counties. They will discuss the CAFO situation in
Jefferson County and Southeast Iowa and what is being done to deter additional
development.

These presentations, in and of themselves, are compelling and not to be missed.
But more than ever, it is crucial at this time to stand up for the quality of
life of our precious Super Radiance community and demonstrate we are united in
this pursuit.

Because this is so important, I strongly encourage you to attend the JFAN
Annual Meeting. Together, let’s send a message, loud and clear, that CAFOs are
unacceptable and unwanted in Jefferson County. When 500 people pack the house
at the JFAN Annual Meeting, the pork industry hears that our community means
business.

This is such a simple, enjoyable, and effective way for you to help protect our
community from more unwanted factory farms. I can’t emphasize enough the impact
you can have by being part of a full house next Wednesday. It demonstrates our
community cares.

Please mark your calendar for October 15 and join me at the Sondheim Center to
hear Wenonah Hauter, Charlie Speer and Richard Middleton at the JFAN Annual
Meeting. Your participation in this event will go a long way towards
safeguarding all we hold dear in Fairfield and Maharishi Vedic City.

Thank you for all your enlightened support of our community.

Many thanks,

Raja John Hagelin

Re: [FairfieldLife] The future of movies?

2014-10-10 Thread Bhairitu noozg...@sbcglobal.net [FairfieldLife]
I liked this movie though probably not everyone here will. It might be
a bit depressing for some (especially those facing old age). It's sort
of an anti-Hollywood film though done in Hollywood. Robin Wright plays
herself as an aging actress who is offered a contract to be digitized so
that her likeness can be used in any movie the studio wants. The catch
is she is never allowed to act again. The studio head is played by
Danny Huston and her agent by Harvey Keitel. This is also a film about
automation and robotics taken over and how the public is kept in a
drugged stupor. A good part of the film is animated to display the
illusory world that the public and Wright experience. There are lots of
famous figures in the animated world including even some deities such as
Ganesh and Shiva. Jon Hamm plays an animated character she meets.

The film got an 8 minute review on . Infowars.com. They liked it
but thought it could have been more entertaining. Guess I would have to
rate it Not for Salyavin though he actually might like it.

I spent a few hours with Collins on a couple of occasions about 25 years ago.
At that time he told me he was interested in doing voice acting, giving me
several examples of how one would do voices for a radio commercial so it could
be easily understood. None of this dark stuff of course had surfaced at that
time. His career obviously went beyond voice work and he became more popular.
Now his career is probably over, although you never know how this will play
out. There may be a statute of limitations which limit prosecution, but public
opinion can be devastating; the public's memory though, tends to be rather poor
as time moves on.

Bhaja Govinda is the correct answer.

According to the Adi Shankara, the author of the Soundaryalahari, the bija
mantra of Shakti is the fastest method to liberation in the Kali Yuga. All the
Shankaracharya Saraswati dandi sannyasins up to and including SBS meditate on
the Saraswati bija mantra at least twice each day. This is a fact.

Adi Shankara wrote Bhaja Govindam just before He left this world, He
emphasized, above all else, the importance for developing devotion for Lord
Krishna, which is the principle means for attaining the Grace for the Supreme,
and the freedom from further rounds of reincarnating in material existence. It
is this prayer that leaves us no doubt that his final instruction was to give
up our egotistical differences and surrender to Lord Krishna. It also
encapsulates the sum and substance of all Vedantic thought in whatever other
works that he had written. You will not find one Shankaracharya who will deny
this. http://www.stephen-knapp.com/bhaja_govindam.htm

The JFAN Annual Meeting is just around the corner. JFAN has put
together a dynamite meeting featuring three powerful champions of
communities and the environment. */It’s Time to Change ‘Business As

Fairfield Arts Convention Center.

National food and farm advocate *Wenonah Hauter*, Executive Director
of Food Water Watch, will address how a handful of powerful
agricultural corporations have profoundly influenced the US political
system. As a result, we have agricultural policies that favor
industrial livestock production at the expense of people and the

Back by popular demand, nationally renowned environmental attorneys
*Charlie Speer* and *Richard Middleton* will join Fairfield attorney

update on CAFO activities in Jefferson and surrounding counties. They
will discuss the CAFO situation in Jefferson County and Southeast Iowa

Maharishi believed that Shankara lived 2000+ years ago also, and yet, virtually
every modern historian puts him in the 8th Century C.E., so talking about his
commentary on the Gita being the oldest extant commentary for two millenia,
is, well, being like Maharishi: playing a bit fast with the historical record.

Nothing wrong with that when dealing with mystical things, but nothing
particularly right about it either.

 Neti sez:

Yuga?

Well Neti, you can’t even get a straight answer to a simple question.

You might note the comments upon your question. Not one of them quotes
Shankara directly because they only know about his tradition. No one here reads
him. That even includes Shankara’s Gita commentary – the oldest extant
commentary for two millenia.

In his various commentaries, Shankara did not talk about yugas. Adi Shankara
talked about the reality expounded by the Upanishads, the Brahma Sutras and the
Gita. That reality is defined as Brahman (literally The Vast or Vastness).
Shankara emphasized the Upanishadic definition of Brahman - satyam, jñânam,
anantam. Since “what is” gets reiterated by Shankara as satyam (reality or
isness), jñânam (awareness) and anantam (limitlessness), his task was to
demonstrate what ignorance (avidya) actually is and how it seems to result in
the appearance (mithya) of an independent cosmos of cause and effect. Along
with that focus, he worked extensively to refute the idea that the performance
of Vedic rites was necessary or even accessory to the realization of BrahmÂtman.

One variance to note is that when the Gita does talk about the “ages” of
Brahma and the universal manifestation, Shankara does comment – all the while
following the verses of the text. As expected, he points to the imperishable
(aksharam) as the supreme Brahman beyond time. He then amplifies the Gita
instructions for attaining that reality which is also known as the supreme
person (param purusham) who reposes in the sun as Hiranyagarbha, sustainer of
the sense-powers of all beings in the local universe. He calls that entity
adhi-daivatam, the divine being and adhi-yajñah (the being of the sacrifice)
and specifically calls him Vishnu, the pervader.

[FairfieldLife] Where is Home for the Raiders Football Team?

2014-10-10 Thread jr_...@yahoo.com [FairfieldLife]
I had an unusual dream about the Raiders last night. It started out with a
conversation with a young man who supposedly plays for the Raiders team. He
said he just moved in to the apartment complex with his wife.

He showed me the apartment in which his other team members were going to live.
I walked up to the top floor of the apartment to see where this place was. I
saw that this place was near a beach and the streets didn't look like it was in
Oakland, CA at all.

One of the residents mentioned that the place was near Los Angeles, CA.

I saw a flash of an old picture of Al Davis, the deceased owner of the ball
club.

Then, the young man said that there was going to be a team bus that will pick
up the players at the apartment complex to the football arena. He said that he
hopes to see me at the ball game.

As I awoke, I realized that this dream has no relationship to the game that's
scheduled for this Sunday, nor is it related to the new coach who's trying to
turn around the team's losing habits. It appears to be saying that, no matter
what the results will be for this season, the Raiders will be moving to a new
home--perhaps, in Los Angeles.

Salyavin, you're reviewing the movie without having seen it just like
Judy. You say:

buildings to collapse like a traditional demolition but only after
planes had flown into them? And without ever practising! What would have
happened if the buildings fell over when the planes hit? The nuclear
weapons would have been seen exploding! Bit risky for the plotters.

This is because you don't actually know what 9-11 investigators allege.
We allege it was a conspiracy by a faction in the government and some
corporations. The planes were a cover and they alone would not have
collapsed the building. See, Mr. Science, you don't even know that the
buildings were designed to take a hit by those size planes. This because
a large plane hit the Empire State by accident back in the 1940s but it
also didn't sustain much damage from that. So they made sure future
buildings were also built to take such hits.

Also planes hitting the building would not have made them fall over. To
do that is a bit tricky and they hit too high to do that. Thus it
required demolition to complete the job. It is alleged that Flight 93
was supposed to hit WTC 7 where the operation was run from and it was
also the principal target because it contained documents that the
perpetrators didn't want investigated. When the Flight 93 got shot down
(no it didn't crash) then they had to pull the building (as soon as
the operations team got out). Silverstein goofed and said they had to
pull building. It wouldn't be possible to set the building up for
demolition under those conditions and that fast. It was set up in advance.

Most of us know that a large jet liner could not have maneuvered to hit
the Pentagon. There would have been crash debris and a much larger
hole. It was most likely a missile. Some folks claim they saw a plane
but that too may have been the operations plane flying over at the time
(and one was seen in the vicinity).

Your knowledge of modern tactical nuclear weapons is a bit lacking.
They would necessarily exposed the perps to any danger setting them up.

I've spent over 10 years on this subject and have many reference
materials if you want to argue more and get an education.

Believe if you want that some billionaire in a cave in Afghanistan ran
the whole operation but that really sounds wacky! :-D

I think its mainly the fact that Dick Cheny orchestrated the Patriot Act and
used his behind the curtain powers to see to it that we invaded Afghanistan and
especially Iraq, not so much for the oil as to be able to award all the
rebuilding contracts to his old company Haliburton and its subsidiaries - he
and they made billions off that deal.

Do you know what the word may means? It's a theory, Sal. Some people
have claimed to have seen a plane but it might have been an operations
plane (a tanker). Nice cover up. Also many airline pilots have said
that it would have been impossible for even an experienced pilot to fly
that could have hit the Pentagon. So why has the FBI not released the
numerous security videos they confiscated from surrounding businesses.
The wing that was hit was about to start their yearly accounting of
finances and there were alleged trillions of dollars missing. Very
suspicious.

Here's an article about NFL fans I found today. It shows there are still many
Raider fans in Southern California area. Curiously, the map doesn't show any
fans in the San Francisco Bay Area. So, something is wrong with this map.

Each Yuga has its delightful stories of the Divine.
Ramayana from Treta, Srimad Bhagavatam from Dwapara...

At the bridge between Treta yuga and Dwapara yuga...

Veda Vyasa after compiling the great Vedic works was in a state of deep
depression!
Sage Narada came to him and told him to to focus his work on Divine Love.
Narada narrated his own story and...
Hence Srimad Bhagavatamthe story of Krishna and the fruits from developing
Love for Him.

Vyasa narrated it to his son, Shuka Deva who narrated it to Parikshit.

Sri Suka Maharishi, the venerable son of Veda Vyasa proclaimed that:

 Kalow Sankeerthya Kesavam

Singing the glory of Lord Kesava is easiest way to attain Perfection in the
age of Kali.

Adi Shakaracharya, in his Guru Ashtakam, says in one of the couplets that
“Even if you are an expert in six angas and the four Vedas, and an expert in
writing good prose and poems. If your mind does not bow at the Guru’s feet;
what is the use? What is the use? Oh what is the use?”

A spiritual aspirant who may be brilliant, bright, intelligent, smart and
clever can never attain the spiritual knowledge by his own endeavor without a
dose of boosting from a Sadguru. He may never be able to cross the ocean of
samsara without severe bruises and permanent marks of injuries, without proper
guidance from a Sadguru. Guru’s Padukas and the dust from the feet of Sri
Swamiji are the panacea for many of his devotees. One can never attain the
sublime knowledge by his own efforts.

You probably don't know him very well, he's a very private fellow. The last
thing he would do is to create a shock for the sake of publicity.
He was asked a question and gave his honest opinion; the hole in Pentagon
wasn't big enough for a plane to have crashed, why did 3 huge buildings
collapse when only two were hit by planes and why were there no wreckage or
skidmarks on the ground from the plane that supposedly went down in
Pennsylvania.
Like Lynch said; we need answers, that's all.

God Bless You Mr Rosewater (sic) was published in 1965 so predates Kurt
learning TM. As salyavin says the novel is Breakfast of Champions (1973).
Here's a quote from the novel (warning: mantra info revealed!):
When Bunny played the piano bar at the Holiday Inn, he had many, many secrets.
One of them was this: he wasn’t really there. He was able to absent himself
from the cocktail lounge, and from the planet itself, for that matter, by means
of Transcendental Meditation. He learned this technique from Maharishi Mahesh
Yogi, who once stopped off in Midland City during a world-wide lecture tour.
Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, in exchange for a new handkerchief, a piece of fruit, a
bunch of flowers, and thirty-five dollars, taught Bunny to close his eyes, and
to say this euphonious nonsense word to himself over and over again:
“Aye-em, aye-em, aye-em.” Bunny sat on the edge of his bed in the
hotel room now, and he did it. “Aye-em, aye-em”, he said to
himself—internally. The rhythm of the chant matched one syllable with each two
beats in his heart. He closed his eyes. He became a skin diver in the depths of
his mind. The depths were seldom used.
His heart slowed. His respiration nearly stopped. A single word floated by in
the depths. It had somehow escaped from the busier parts of his mind. It wasn’t
connected to anything. It floated by lazily, a translucent, scarf-like fish.
The word was untroubling. Here was the word: “Blue.”

Iran Contra and later committed suicide (more likely suicided):

Seems that the CIA has started to come forward and say that some of

This is, quite honestly complete bullshit. All one has to do to get funding by
the NIH is to know how to write a grant proposal. That's it.

Here are just a few things the NIH has funded over the years, some of them
nearly as stupid as funding research on TM.

The National Institutes of Health paid researchers $400,000 to find out why
gay men in Argentina engage in risky sexual behavior when they are drunk.

Researchers at Indiana University's Kinsey Institute, funded by NIH,
investigated why “young heterosexual adult men have problems using condoms.”
Price tag? $423,500, according to NIH records.

I am the Director of Operations for the school meditation project in San
Francisco that uses TM, where the students were found to be the happiest in the
city. I would like to try and correct some misunderstandings that may have
occurred as a result of certain comments made here recently.

  1. There is a post that suggest we 'stole' couches from a one of the high
schools we worked in.

This is incorrect. We purchase used couches from outside sources, specifically
for the Quiet Time program. We own them.

 2. That the windows and doors in the rooms we used at a high school were
papered over so that no one could see in, and that the school had to remove the
papering after we left.

A single door to a small room was partially papered only during training
sessions to reduce the distraction from other students walking by during
passing period. This paper was taken down each day, and was not remaining after
the meditation training staff left the school.

 3. That we had been kicked out of at least 2 schools in SF since Jan of this
year.

One school decided to discontinue the Quiet Time program at the end of the
spring semester due primarily to a vote from faculty regarding time
constraints. There are many schools throughout CA and nationally requesting the
program, so we only work with those that are able to fit it into their
schedule. After providing this to 7,000 students, teachers, parents and
administrators for the last 7 years, we have had over a 90% program
satisfaction rating. An extremely small minority of parents, teachers and
administrators have had issues with the program, usually because of biases or
misunderstandings.

 4. That most of the research referenced by the TM organization is either
bogus or deeply flawed

There are over 100 studies on TM published in reputable, peer reviewed
scientific journals indicating various positive mental and physical health
effects. Research has been done at Stanford, Harvard, University of California
and other reputable institutions. The National Institutes of Health (NIH) has
funded over 24M worth of research into TM and heart health. In order to be
published in peer reviewed journals or to be funded by the NIH, rigorous
assessment is performed by highly experienced scientists. If the research was
bogus or deeply flawed, the research would not be funded or published.

But, Barry must never know this, no one must know this. Just like they must
never realize that Ann is secretly planning on attending the Mother Divine

seated in full lotus in front of her shrine to all things TM or that she offers
healing sessions using lead-based body painting sessions while yodeling in
Oh, how we can create perfect lives via
the internet and most of the time no one will ever find out the truth.

Salyavin, you're reviewing the movie without having seen it just like Judy.
 You say:

The only thing I believe about the government is that they are incapable of
planning and executing such a sophisticated and cynical plot. Rigging buildings
to collapse like a traditional demolition but only after planes had flown into
them? And without ever practising! What would have happened if the buildings
fell over when the planes hit? The nuclear weapons would have been seen
exploding! Bit risky for the plotters.

This is because you don't actually know what 9-11 investigators allege. We
allege it was a conspiracy by a faction in the government and some
corporations. The planes were a cover and they alone would not have collapsed
the building. See, Mr. Science, you don't even know that the buildings were
designed to take a hit by those size planes. This because a large plane hit
the Empire State by accident back in the 1940s but italso didn't sustain much
damage from that. So they made sure future buildings were also built to take
such hits.

Also planes hitting the building would not have made them fall over. To do
that is a bit tricky and they hit too high to do that. Thus it required
demolition to complete the job. It is alleged that Flight 93 was supposed to
hit WTC 7 where the operation was run from and it was also the principal target
because it contained documents that the perpetrators didn't want investigated.
When the Flight 93 got shot down (no it didn't crash) then they had to pull
the building (as soon as the operations team got out). Silverstein goofed and
said they had to pull building. It wouldn't be possible to set the building
up for demolition under those conditions and that fast. It was set up in
advance.

Most of us know that a large jet liner could not have maneuvered to hit the
Pentagon. There would have been crash debris and a much larger hole. It was
most likely a missile. Some folks claim they saw a plane but that too may have
been the operations plane flying over at the time (and one was seen in the
vicinity).

Your knowledge of modern tactical nuclear weapons is a bit lacking. They
would necessarily exposed the perps to any danger setting them up.

I've spent over 10 years on this subject and have many reference materials
if you want to argue more and get an education.

While I am open to and inclined to believe that there is still a lot unknown
about the 911 attacks, many of the arguments that Bhairitu makes appear to have
substantial counter arguments as I have outlined below. .

A general criticism, not of Bhairitu’s arguments specifically, is voiced by
Thomas W. Eagar, an engineering professor at MIT, [9/11 conspiracy
advocates]use the 'reverse scientific method'. They determine what happened,
throw out all the data that doesn't fit their conclusion, and then hail their
findings as the only possible conclusion. Eagar's criticisms also exemplify a
common stance that the theories are best ignored. I've told people that if the
argument gets too mainstream, I'll engage in the debate. Michael Shermer, in
Scientific American http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scientific_American, said:
The mistaken belief that a handful of unexplained anomalies can undermine a
well-established theory lies at the heart of all conspiratorial thinking. All
the evidence for a 9/11 conspiracy falls under the rubric of this fallacy. Such
notions are easily refuted by noting that scientific theories are not built on
single facts alone but on a convergence of evidence assembled from multiple
lines of inquiry.

If the following counter arguments don’t hold water, please explain, I am all
ears.

1)1) Bhairitu: We allege it was a conspiracy by a faction in the
government and some corporations.

Rational Wiki: [Regarding claims that] Powerful money/Bush
family/military-industrial conspirers did it, all of whom needed a new war in
the Middle East for various commercial reasons (oil
http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Oil, arm sales, real estate, precious bodily
fluids etc.): While it could easily be said that they used 9/11 to create an
unrelated Iraq War http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Iraq_War, they did not blame
the Iraqis http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Iraq, but al-Qaeda, which isn't really
as convenient if you want to declare war with Iraq and not lose some friends.
To quote Bill Maher http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Bill_Maher, [That Bush had
prior knowledge of the 9/11 attacks] is an absurd statement, because it
contains the words Bush and knowledge.
… the biggest problem is that for the Bush administration to enact such an
abhorrent plot and keep it a secret would seem to require a level of competence
they never displayed at anything else. While there is some evidence that
intelligence http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Intelligence_(government) regarding
the attack was ignored, that does not mean it was a nefarious plot. As Heinlein
http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Heinlein said, You have attributed conditions to
villainy that simply result from stupidity.
The second problem is that if BushCo did stage the 9/11 attack, their failure
to place the blame directly on Saddam Hussein
http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Saddam_Hussein's regime is rather baffling, since
their alleged main use of 9/11 was to force the US into war with Iraq.
Rational Wiki: [Regarding claims that] It was carried out by Mossad to
galvanize US support for Israel and destroy their enemies: The story of Mossad
allegedly telling Jews http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Jew to stay home the day of
the attack, or that no Jews died in the attack, both of which are false,
brought this one forward (the most common of these claims is that 4,000 Jews
were warned to stay home).[41]
http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/9-11_conspiracy_theories#cite_note-40 However, as
Bush was already one of the strongest supporters Israel has ever had, it is
questionable as to why they'd need more of his support. The idea that the Jews
were forewarned may originate in the fact that 9/11 happened to fall at the end
of the month of Elul, during the days leading up to Rosh Hashanah
http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Jewish_holidays#Rosh_Hashanah, when observant Jews
would have additional prayers at their morning prayer services and therefore
would likely be late to work. However, given that there were several Orthodox
http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Orthodox_Judaism minyanim (prayer groups)
organized within the WTC, it is unclear how many, if any, Jews were away from
the towers due to prayer services. Then again, if Mossad had wanted to destroy
the towers when there were no Jews in them, they could simply have waited a few
days until Rosh Hashanah or Yom Kippur http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Yom_Kippur,
when practically no Jews would have been at work.

9/11 conspiracy theories(Wiki): In 2006, members of the group Scholars for
9/11 Truth http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scholars_for_9/11_Truth argued that a
group of US neo-conservatives called the Project for a New American Century
(PNAC), which included Paul Wolfowitz

look at all of it now and I'm sure someone else has gone through a
debunked most of the holes here. I see a couple already.

While I am open to and inclined to believe that there is still a lot
unknown about the 911 attacks, many of the arguments that Bhairitu

below. .

A general criticism, not of Bhairitu’s arguments specifically, is
voiced by Thomas W. Eagar, an engineering professor atMIT
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Massachusetts_Institute_of_Technology,
[9/11 conspiracy advocates]use the 'reverse scientific method'. They
determine what happened, throw out all the data that doesn't fit their
conclusion, and then hail their findings as the only possible
conclusion. Eagar's criticisms also exemplify a common stance that
the theories are best ignored. I've told people that if the argument
gets too mainstream, I'll engage in the debate. Michael Shermer, in
/Scientific American
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scientific_American/, said: The
mistaken belief that a handful of unexplained anomalies can undermine
a well-established theory lies at the heart of all conspiratorial
thinking. All the evidence for a 9/11 conspiracy falls under the
rubric of this fallacy. Such notions are easily refuted by noting that
scientific theories are not built on single facts alone but on a
convergence of evidence assembled from multiple lines of inquiry.

If the following counter arguments don’t hold water, please explain, I
am all ears.

1)1) Bhairitu: We allege it was a conspiracy by a faction in the
government and some corporations.

Rational Wiki: [Regarding claims that] Powerful money/Bush
family/military-industrial conspirers did it, all of whom
needed a new war in the Middle East for various commercial
reasons (oil http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Oil, arm sales,
real estate, precious bodily fluids etc.): While it could
easily be said that they used 9/11 to create an
unrelatedIraq War http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Iraq_War,
they did not blame theIraqis
http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Iraq, but al-Qaeda, which isn't
really as convenient if you want to declare war with Iraq and
not lose some friends. To quoteBill Maher
http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Bill_Maher, [That Bush had
prior knowledge of the 9/11 attacks] is an absurd statement,
because it contains the wordsBush andknowledge.

… the biggest problem is that for the Bush administration to enact
such an abhorrent plot and keep it a secret would seem to require a
level of competence they/never displayed at anything else/. While
there is some evidence thatintelligence
http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Intelligence_%28government%29regarding
the attack was ignored, that does not mean it was a nefarious plot.
AsHeinlein http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Heinleinsaid, You have
attributed conditions to villainy that simply result from stupidity
http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Hanlon%27s_razor.

The second problem is that if BushCo/did/stage the 9/11 attack, their
failure to place the blame directly onSaddam Hussein
http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Saddam_Hussein's regime is rather
baffling, since their alleged main use of 9/11 was to force the US
into war with Iraq.

Rational Wiki: [Regarding claims that] It was carried out by
Mossad to galvanize US support for Israel and destroy their
enemies: The story ofMossad
http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Mossadallegedly tellingJews
http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Jewto stay home the day of the
attack, or that no Jews died in the attack, both of which are
false, brought this one forward (the most common of these
claims is that 4,000 Jews were warned to stay home).^[41]
http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/9-11_conspiracy_theories#cite_note-40
However, as Bush was already one of the strongest
supportersIsrael http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Israelhas ever
had, it is questionable as to why they'd needmoreof his support.

The idea that the Jews were forewarned may originate in the fact that
9/11 happened to fall at the end of the month of Elul, during the days
leading up toRosh Hashanah
http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Jewish_holidays#Rosh_Hashanah, when
observant Jews would have additionalprayers
http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Prayerat their morning prayer services
and therefore would likely be late to work. However, given that there
were severalOrthodox
http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Orthodox_Judaismminyanim (prayer
groups) organized within the WTC, it is unclear how many, if any, Jews
were away from the towers due to prayer services. Then again, if

Ran the whole operation? You mean got some guys to hijack a few
planes? It's too simple isn't it. That's the problem people have,
they can't believe that much destruction was caused by a few
maniacs in hijacked planes.

But it was not that simple. And the alleged fliers couldn't even
fly a Cessna properly let alone a jet. Those planes were remote
controlled and such systems were available in advance of 9-11.

I disagree, I think they were telepathically controlled by the
Space Brothers from their secret base on Pluto.

Actually it is weak minds who tend to believe what the government and
mainstream media tells them.

all who practice it. This first particular article is a doozy; wait until Barry

according to the article, it was discovered that three residents of Fairfield
were found to have gum recession upon visiting their dentist on their
semi-annual check up. In addition, one of the three also required a crown. Now
this was a goldmine of information and definite proof of TM’s false claims and
Maharishi’s lies BECAUSE THE THREE PEOPLE WERE LONG TIME MEDITATORS.

The second “find” was almost as good. It seems that in 1976 an TM initiator
had left a house he had rented without cleaning the oven and still demanded his
deposit back. Now surely the rest of those sycophants at FFL will have to admit
that Maharishi was a liar and a fraud, not to mention an old goat. Surely this
will prove, without a doubt that I, MJ has been right and am now vindicated.

With the SEND button activated and both incriminating pieces of evidence

thought strikes him. “What if I am on the no-read” list of the sycophants. He

He begins to perspire, he is feeling shaky - all that he thinks should happen

endless hours of pursuit toward what is right and good may go unseen. There is
only one thing to do: find others on other forums, on Facebook on his own blog
