See if you can get apple pectin or phylum (bad spelling--unflavored metimusuiel--again bad spelling).  They helped with several critters who had this problem.  My alternative vet recommends the apple pectin over other fibers.  I don't know why.

 There are some nice carriers made for dogs that are soft sided (metal covered with a fabric).  I got one for the Royal Princess Kitty Katt.  She absolutely hated the plastic carriers.  They are sort of awkward to carry (no handles) but narrow enough you can reach around.

To add to the problem:  both are high in mercury.  Dixie Louise gets some of each but in small portions.  Rumor has it that canned salmon is always wild salmon and lower in mercury than the farm raised.  This makes sense but I haven't taken the time to check it out.

Odo Ban can get it out but there are members who have had problems with it.  I've used it with no problems for almost 20 years.  There has been concern about warnings on the labels.  Similar warnings are on most things (my opinion only).
