On thing that has to be kept in mind
I have supported the idea of community ownership for a long time. Below
is a link to the bill introduced by me in the House and Senator Ellen
Anderson in the Senate. The bills passed through committees in both
Houses and were on the floor before adjournment. Obviously the folks

bidding process as the Park Board chooses a lobbyist, as they
did last time. Brian and his company (as they should, based on record
alone) easily won.
Another chapter in this story is the helpful relationship with MPRA
when dealing on a statewide level, but I'll leave that for another day.

apologetic rather than disdainful or arrogant.
The proper tradeoff is to wear a seat belt in a car. The laws of
physics are more applicable here than personal bargains.

I second the post about Mpls police needing to learn the law. It's
completely clear that impounding unregistered bikes is illegal except
for abandoned bikes and then only after 24 hour notice.

thread, I would like to add the words of Ivan Illich from his book
Energy and Equity published in 1974.

Yes it should have been done two years ago, but it's better to do the
