I would assume the default state of Particular for AE and Particular for
Nuke is not the same. Sounds to me like the z-position is set differently,
or the world transformation is set differently.
Unfortunately, I don't have access to Particular for Nuke.

- open AE and start a Cinema4D lite layer.
- bring the FBX into Cinema4D

For the refraction you can ask the ScanlineRenderer to output normals, and
you can use those, with an IDistort to distort the background.
You can also use the matte of the geo to color correct the background.
All of this should make a glass look in the end.

Far as I recall, all the nuke files ending with a tilde are
one-version-previous to the latest. So the autosave will be the autosave
previous to the one called autosave, in case the last one is corrupt.

This whole issue of the folder not being created has always annoyed me.
Should be automatic, in my opinion. Or at least there can be a checkbox in
the Write automatically create path / don't overwrite existing.

the PointCloudGenerator to create a mesh, but it doesn't seem like
the mesh has an UVs. Did I do anything wrong? Or does a mesh coming out of

Indeed, now that I have a UV it's all much easier.
Shame there's no way to have UVs in these kind of meshes right within Nuke.
Breaks the whole flow.

ReadGeo node you get a pop up panel asking you how to import. You can then
choose what's a parent, which will be imported as a separate node.
