I had this a huge rebuffering issue a while back due to upnp overloading my network... but recently I've had a few small ebuffering issues but I'll put that at the BBC door because it's not enough to bother me and if I do let it is know I'll lose the will to live ;-)

In the uk so perfectly willing to accept it'll be a powerline issue, i deal with dirty mains problems in my job so know not to expect miracles. Great idea to swap out the unit with the boom, i'll give it a try. I think this is all just leading to a week under the floorboards and a box of cat6.

Regardless of the length of buffer and timeout I have set, iPlayer is buffering every 5 seconds to the extent it is unusable. I have had a much milder form of this problem for a few months now. Most programs would not play all the way through without buffering to some extent and often would stop

Messing around with the pref file directly may fix this issue temporarily but if you do not have Settings for BBCiPlayer plugin then something is awry in your LMS or how it is run - if you do not find the source other problem may show up in time. Please do not continue debugging the code or the

I'm wondering about uninstalling both plugins again, manually deleting the prefs files associated with each one and then reinstalling. Is there anything else I should clear out at the same time, or would you recommend a different approach?
