My new chair is not as powerful as my last. I guess its a trade off with
speed.
I was on a dirt road and pulled off to the side for a truck, got stuck.
No torque, once I did get moving, it would not turn.
While stuck, twice cars came right by me, I'm waving both arms... they
just waved back.
Well, got my new chair today. Pretty happy with it. Looks pretty good.
Came with headlights, blinkers, flashers, etc. Headlights might get
used. I got the speed package. Goes from 6mph up to 7.5. I’m surprised
how much that little bit really helps. How much faster it feels. Might
need some
My chair is supposed to come next Wednesday. I hope the seat elevating is
part of what Medicare covers as well as elevating foot rests too.
I hope my chair fits too.

A lot of the folks in the Arkansas Spinal Cord Commission's support
group use the same chair as Debra and really like it. Most of these I'm
thinking of are on workman's compensation and that's how they get their
chairs paid for.

I was looking around and saw a quad on youtube wearing the new self lacing
tennis style shoe. You put it on and press a button and the laces tighten on
their own. They are made by nike and list for 720.00..lol. Maybe someday

Ive gotten two manual chairs since 1998. My first one was an action mvp and the
second and current chair is a quickie 2 which I have held together from ebay
parts from (2001-2017). I have replaced everything on the chair at least once
except the red frame, which is wobbly because its a folder.

I've used vetericyn hydrogel on some superficial stuff. Don't know if
it would work on a deeper would. Certainly cheap enough to try soaking
a sterile gauze with it and do wet to dry technique. I've been using a
memory foam mattress for years.

forgot to mention, they were using dankins solution to pack my wound and
anacept. both fought infection and smelled like bleach. the anacept was used
because my body couldn't tolerate the dankns very expensive and not covered by
medicaid.
