had several hemorrhoid bandings--the proctologist uses a special tool
to put specially made, super-tight, rubber bands around the hemorrhoids, within
a week they shrivel up and vanish. I never had any problems.
I agree with Don, food allergies CAN develop over time and at any age. I
developed celiac disease at age 50 (bummer!).
I *think* folks with SCI are more susceptible to developing food allergies
