Thanx folks for all your info. I have Seamonkey running on several machines so I think I'll give it a try on one of them, probably the one that still uses Eudora for E-mail since most of the problems I'm hearing about are on the e-mail side. I'm anxiously awaiting Thunderbird 3.0 to stabilize

You shouldn't experience any big issues upgrading. That said, some people have had weird issues, but most have been able to upgrade fine. My advice would be to back up your profile with MozBackup first in case you do have any problems. Then you can migrate that back up into the new version.
