Hi Arnold, I suggest you find the manual for your headphones and look up how to do a reset or, if necessary, see if you can reinstall/update the headset's firmware. Regards, Sieghard From: viphone@googlegroups.com [mailto:viphone@googlegroups.com] On Behalf Of Arnold Schmidt Sent:

Siri's answers

2013-05-19 Thread Ann Byrne
In Jonathan's podcast when Siri first appeared, he asked her questions and she gave direct answers. Who is the prime minister of New Zealand gave a single answer. When I ask Siri who is the Mayor of Aurora, Illinois, she gives me a bunch of links to choose from instead of just telling me.

Android is different from IOS, so it has it's own set of strengths and weaknesses. I wouldn't say Android is the problem, but people may definitely prefer one model over the other. The same thing which gives Android it's advantages, openness, support of multiple handsets, and so on, is also

Hi Ann, As far as I know, SIRI uses the same sources for the information it accesses no matter where you are. However, keep in mind that the information as to who the Prime Minister of New Zealand is will be most likely included in one of the sources SIRI checks where this is not the case with

Hi Avnish and Tom, Yes, Tom, it' easy to do this in Outlook, but the mail app on the iPhone has no filter that allows you to display unread messages only. Hopefully iOS 7 may include such a feature. Now, Avnish, here is a work-around which I found by doing a Google search for displaying only

In the unnamed store I visited yesterday, they showed me 1 ear and 2 hear sets with microphones. The labels on both referred to them as headsets. So, I think we just have to be clear about the kind of head set we are talking about. Neal -Original Message- From: viphone@googlegroups.com

Blind Square Question

2013-05-19 Thread Margo and Arrow
Hi. I'm new to the Iphone and love it. I do get in some trouble sometimes, though. (smile). Anyway, I want to have Blindsquare and Foursquare share places. When I double-tap Foursquare and then connect to foursquare to login, I get another language. Well, partly. Some is in English, some in
