I enjoy watching Season 2 of Gomer Pyle when I have a little time to spare.
This week I saw a good Episode with Gomer endearing himself to a General's
little girl with his child-like qualities. It featured TAGS veterans Amzie
Strickland (Miss Rosemary & Home-buyer) as the girl's Nanny, and
I think the last we saw of Mr.Schwump was when he attended Mrs.
Wiley's party (where Ernest T. was mistaken for someone from Back Bay,
Boston). Since he availed himself of every social opportunity, he must
have eventually found his soul mate. (I think he had a wild streak in
him!)I'm think
I enjoyed the list of names of places..but I probably need to spend more
time at the grocery too. Not much around here to eat.

On the newsstands this week, is a copy of TV Guide which feature the top
50 Television families.
Predictably there are some in the group that are far from Mayberry
values, but I think the fact that the Taylors were selected is a tribute
to our favorite show. I believe they were selected #18, whic
Skippy was the lesser known of the two Fun Girls. I was pleased to see
her in a Season Two Episode of Gomer Pyle. She played Sergeant Carter's
girlfriend when He and Gomer visited Las Vegas.

I've noticed before that in two or three episode in particular, the
Title of the Episode (minus a small word such a or the) is included in
the actual words spoken by the characters..three times I think..by
different characters in one case, multiple times by two characters in
another, and once by

I, like all of you, am stunned by the loss of our friend, Jeff Krentz.
I'd like to thank the family member or frined who was kind enough to let

get it to look like it was raining outside at the end of the Gypsies
