Public is an example of a Placeholder group. Public can be given
Change permissions but you do not add members to the group. By
default, People Records in the database are members of Public. Other
Placeholder groups include Assignee and Submitter which are Roles
within Remedy.

1. If Support, will this user be expected to resolve tickets as a member
of these many groups?
2. Or, does this user need to stay informed of the ticket activity of
these many groups?

For teamed NICs, set the alias for BOTH NICs to a single MAC address.
The MAC address, without the - is the Host ID on a Windows server.
This way the license file is valid when your hardware fails over.

In theory, if you are using the Remedy process to auto-archive forms and
the forms are being archived then deleted, the entry in SHR:Consolidated
List is also deleted.

We are using MOM as well. The threshold for alerts has been set and our
Remedy email account added to the email alert list. Upon receipt of the
message, Remedy submits a ticket for the alert. Our SLAs take it from
there.

from an Active Link. The AL has multiple Open Window actions. Each

We have a similar need to measure SLAs response by group assignment.
Instead of having the SLA do the work, a Filter sets the Status to
Assigned when the ticket changes Group+ assignment. Similarly, a
Filter could change the Status to Assigned for change of Individual+
assignment.
