They are two different persons (or it supposed to be :) ) the issue here, is
that the Customer ID is set from other form that makes a push fields, but there
are a lot of records on other forms and tables related to the user.

I need help now. I had the fat client installed on my PC, and thought I would
be a nice guy and help it lose some weight. So I deleted the contents of the
C:\Home directory and C:\Program Files\AR System\User\resdlls\ which did make
it thinner, but now it doesn't work.

corruption of the form/fields. There is a switch you put in the ar.cfg
(ar.conf)
That will recreate (import) the forms on a restart.

some reason that I cannot determine, a simple active link (which returns
user info from CTM:People on Enter) works perfectly when I test it in
the WUT, but refuses to work
never heard or used the term fat client - when ARWeb first came out it was
billed as the thin client in contradistinction to the thick client WUT.
Back in the good old days of the UNIX-only server version, there was an ASCII
client. Otherwise known as the anorexic client.
That's my understanding about how it works...any name you want the server to
recognize as 'self'...should go in the config under that parameter.
