It works for me, and I realize most users aren't going to have a 5.1
setup, but I've been in the recording biz since 1971 and have lots of my

I've got a Denon receiver that's probably 10-years old. The digital
input will take almost ANYTHING I send to it, except for 88.2. IMHO,
88.2 is a stupid SR to use anyway and it's only because of laziness on
the original mix engineer thinking conversion from 88.2 to 44.1 is
easier. That may
(96/24), etc. It just seems like a whole
lot of money for internet streams... still, glad it's on the road to
recovery!!

If the DAC is going to remain 'stuck' to the Duet and NEVER be connected

How are your files encoded? FF/REW doesn't work with all file formats.
What server version are you running and did you reset the TP at all?

The only question would be the input impedance of your amps, which
shouldn't really be a problem. The output of the TransPorter is a low
enough impedance that it shouldn't have a problem driving two
hi-impedance inputs, which is typical for most RCA inputs.

I did the test tones... all dead. Synced to SB3 upstairs and the SB3
played... TP didn't and the bar didn't move.

If you're REALLY asking about the BNC output, I believe it is only
Wordclock output and not signal. Your digital audio options are AES on
XLR and S/PDIF on Coaxial (RCA) or Optical.

Welborn does ship a grounded AC plug/cable but doesn't use the ground.
They actually state in the directions to trim it back to the strain
relief and use only the HOT and NEUTRAL wires.
I'll attempt connecting the chassis to the gnd of the +5 output to see
if that helps.

at FULL SCALE almost to the point of distortion (that's another thread
topic, sorry). They will most certainly sound louder if any ripper
changed the volume, as much as 6-10dB!
