Hello Bob,
That's IEBUPDTE SYSIN format.
Go ahead and read the fine documentation in DFSMS Utilities, but the quick
info is that this is SYSIN, SYSUT2 points to your output PDS, and use
PARM=NEW on the EXEC card. (No need for SYSUT1 in this case).
Oh, in case anyone is wondering...my gaffe

Sideways topic - are other code pages, like 1141, supported? And is
BPXDEUSH now 1141, not 273?
I did notice that the DB2 V8 precompiler, with C and CPP, uses 37 by
default, not 1047. (But I'm used to ??( and ??), anyway. Mental note to
self - override DB2 precompiler step with CP 1140.)
I'm guessing s/he's more of an apps person, not a systems person.
The guy/gal has chutzpah, I'll grant that.

First, run with PARM='TYPRUN=NORUN', so you won't actually copy anything off
the tape.
Then use INCLUDE((**)). ADRDSSU will show you all of the data sets
dumped/copied onto the tape.
Then, once you figure out what's there, and what to rename to (usually just
