OP did not say if his radio has a battery. Perhaps the time is not
retained if it loses power and can't regain the time until it connects
with the network. Does that make sense?

The mistake that every new person makes (I know because I did) is to
press the + button while the station is actually playing. That produces
the wrong dialogue box and a lot of frustration.

If you have the remote, there is a dedicated button for sleep. It has
the eyelashes icon and is located right in the middle of the top row so
that it is easy to find when you are already half asleep.

at the beginning. They did, but none of them worked.
Then the problem cleared up. From time to time it happens again. Then
after a while, it goes away again. That behavior has led me to believe
that it is a temporary inability to access mysqueezebox.com.

using an aggregator under SBS only works if you are using SBS. If you
are connecting without a computer or other SBS server then this work
around doesn't do it.

Buttons in the Dark: It takes barely any time at all to get used to the
positioning of the the buttons. I can do every thing in the dark now.
Snooze - just punch the biggest knob on the radio (the belly button)
and snooze away.

I use my Radio alarm with mysqueezebox.com and it now seems to be very
reliable. A few firmware versions ago, there were issues, but I have
had no trouble for months now. If for some reason the network is having
issues, the back up alarm sound comes on very reliably.

You may want to install the Radio Time app to add other stations which
may not be listed under the Internet Radio subject headings.

I have had this happen to me as well. At the moment, I think the only
way to deal with the problem is to press the alarm button on the front
of the radio and deactivate the alarm before it goes off.
Perhaps we should request this as an enhancement on the bug page.

Your suggestion would be very nice and improve podcast utility.
I have also wished for a bookmark as well. Keeping notes of where you
left off so you can fast-forward to the right place is so 20th century
(that is if your particular podcast allows fast-forward).

manufacturers do not wish to make this
change. We are constantly working with device Manufacturers to make
their device Audible Ready, but ultimately itÂ’s up to them to decide
since the devices firmware have to be updated.
I guess we would have to request Audible support as an enhancement.
