because XML at its best is vendor neutral, language
independent and operating system independent. Also XML
at its best is just data and thus clearly separates
the code from the markup in contrast to lets say Java,

XUL Alliance to the RICHIE Alliance.
RICHIE (TM) stands for a Rich Internet for Everyone
(TM). Does anyone care? Does anyone have any other
suggestions?
How about using the RICHIE Alliance as an umbrella
