But as I said, its a bit far away and I am not sure if it is still the latest release. It was a try to bring all a bit together. Gjergj and me chooses here github instead of souceforge because it has a much better git support. > https://github.com/israelpascal/care2x-tz This seems to be the working release of Israel Pascal. He is reading this list and maybe he will give here some answer. In your case I would contact him direct. As Tim said, there is a bit pending work to be done that it will work stable. Several functions are outdated / depreciated and might could bring some issues on PHP 7. At least... it will bring some issues when I read the changelog of PHP. All in all: The east african branch is an early branch of care2x but is real used in clinics. Re: [Care2002-developers] The status and future of Care2x
HiHo Tim, as the man who got all the support@care2x mails I can briefly confirm that there is a huge market on care2x. Most of the questions receiving me are always the same: questions about - best practice, what OS should be used - language support - how to add languages what can be downloaded by sf.net - etc. Approx. 2 times per week always the same questions. Most of them are not really that big deal to post it here on the developers list, can be answered within minutes or just a link to existing howtos and it is been done. Care2x is what it is, a non profit project. You know that Gjergj, you and me working on a stable 2.7 release but sadly I do not have enough time to give the time what the project will need... Think also about the still rising questions about DICOM viewer. Almost been answered via PM or CC, you also getting it. There are some still pending other - non development - tasks where everybody could support. Especially the above mentioned language files are almost not complete or not correct translated. There is no programming skills been needed, just native speaker. Also if there are some contributions about to maintain the wiki or website. Also there is no development skills been needed. So there is quite a lot of work. :) Last but not least, there are some view core developer who spending their free time to this project. I would not really point these fingers to exactly those people - there could be the risk to demotivate and loose it as well. If anyone feels to be ready to contribute: https://www.devex.com/news/how-to-ace-your-application-to-the-healthcare-innovation-award-83803 Go for it. We will give background support as best we can. But there is - out of my point of view - no time what it would need that I could successfully contribute for it. Hi Tim, Yes, 2.7. We should have this on our track. There is not all included what I think should be on a next release. But my time to contribute ran out and I am not sure how much I can do here for the leaving tasks in the near future (meaning: October). One should be that gui/smarty_template/templates/default/* should be moved to its corresponding module folder and linked up (- take a look on the vieanna raw branch). On this task we will meet Moye who spoke out loud mentioning there is no requirement out there what we really can fullfill out of the box. This is absolutely true. And actually the small task above will cover this major issue. On this step of my vision we can even take care about the mysql vs. mysqi showstopper within the code as well as some Strict standards: Only variables should be assigned by reference in .. warnings. I will. :) The issue here is that we might have to change care2x its workflow a bit. There is an overlap between medical processing and financial processing. Out of the perspective of an HIS (or MRS) I do see here processing what has to be filled with measurements for later reporting and analysis - out of the ERP part it representing values describing values on an invoice. For the East African version there was a so called front side billing implemented. It picked out the values of such services and linked it to an price list, result was an invoice to the OPD patient. On care2x 2.7 if ecombill is been used all these values has to be re-entered again (by an user role called billing officer). There are some different workflows what has to be checked out. As well as the processing that the patient will be transferred to another hospital and the (e.g.) CT-Scan will be done there, just results will be entered to care2x. Out of care2x perspective: No problem at all. Out of ERP/Billing perspective we do have quite another case. Maybe? I will make some ideas how that can be done. And that is the motivation of having one db and talking about one application. There is no longer any difference between care2x HIS and KwaMoja as ERP. There isn't much fear of that - it is a really complex step and I think it will be better when a HIS will do his job and an ERP should do its job ;-) But it is actually an option and a logically consequence given by reality we should think about, that is correct. I will try to describe another idea I do have in my mind. Send a message and move on day business. Having a 3rd instance, something in the middle? Let's call it service broker... just to have an imagination what is going on in my mind. No matter where a new element is been created, Service Broker will ensure that it is correctly created/updated/deleted on the other side or give a warning back. So I indeed pick up the idea of xml-rpc again, but on a new instance. We have always transparency - and even the conceptual model of a distributed system (if the accounting is decentralized and administrate several hospitals - like it is been called in East Africa dispencery). As well as that a lab could assign a new test or service or disable it. Like now it is in real time on his screen. Pricing is another story what will be decided by another group of person. If you - basically - feel comfortable with this vision, we might could go one step ahead and think about its concept. Just an idea. Re: [Care2002-developers] Care2_elct broken?
Hi, The database of main care2x does not fit to this branch. care2x_elct is a snapshot of an individual development for Tanzania and do have some lack in several points. So e.g. it is mainly working under php 5.3 - but some reports not. To be sure that it will work, please use for this branch php 4.x (sorry for that - but I had not that time so far to take care about over all. I am still wait for some information from these hospitals then I will fix the reports. What is not working here under php 5.x seems some links out of each report for advanced and detailed information). Please make sure that you checked out the correct path. It is /care2002/care2x_tz/branches/care2x_elct/ There I had also stored an db-dump what I got from them. There are some more tables added by local developers there to enrich the information what is needed for this individual work. You can find an empty dump here: /care2002/care2x_tz/branches/care2x_elct/install/mysql/manual/care2x.sql In fact I do wait for some basic information to reopen that task to fix it that it will work under php 5.3. I do have to cover several tasks based on having lack on time. But I expect these information these days. There is - as far I know - no valid ER diagram available about the database structure. But it is really fantastic to see what they did here. Most of the changes in this version of care2x was given by direct requirements of local hospitals and will give us a nice view about work-flow changes and what is really needed. Well, these development went due several hands before it came back now to us - so do not worry that maybe there is a lack of documentation. When you are familiar with care2x programming and how an HIS is working you will see how it its conception. Re: [Care2002-developers] Care2utu modifications
Hi, following question arrived and I think I will x-post it here in the group :) Hope you're ok with that: Hello Robert, What kind of server configuration and OS will you recommend for care2x for a hospital with about 40 personnel. We are also integrating webERP for the accounting and billing purpose. Any suggestion would be welcome please. The correct answer would be: As more you will have, as more you'll get. I think the absolute minimum requirement are given by linux itself. Here the System requirements for Ubuntu server [1] : RAM: 128 MB Harddisk: 500 GB But this is the absolute minimum you should have - and it will not make fun if you have that minimum in productive use - it will work. If possible think about 1GB RAM and a CPU what will work with 1GHz - that would be my recommendation of system requirement if you would use it as server. Ram is more important than CPU - the old golden rule. If you have more than 2 GB Ram, let say 4GB, take a look to 64bit Linux as server. 32bit Linux is faster when you have 1-2 GB Ram and slower if you have 4GB. 64bit will be slower by having 1-2 GB Ram and much faster when you have 4 or more GB ram. I have not found any other limitations by using 64bit Linux so far. If you have e.g. an 32bit server and 4GB of physically RAM installed, just 3.2GB will be used - by 64bit system all of the RAM of 4GB will be used. Hope it helps Robert source: [1] https://help.ubuntu.com/10.04/serverguide/C/serverguide.pdf Am Samstag, den 17.03.2012, 23:26 +0100 schrieb coolman coolx: -- -- CARE2X - free Integ Hospital Info System https://sourceforge.net/projects/care2002/ http://www.care2x.org -- This SF email is sponsosred by: Try Windows Azure free for 90 days Click Here http://p.sf.net/sfu/sfd2d-msazure ___ Care2002-developers mailing list Care2002-developers@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/care2002-developers

Re: [Care2002-developers] Care2x 2.6.27 released now
Hi Muthu, Am Mittwoch, den 04.01.2012, 08:57 +0530 schrieb Ap.Muthu: Hi Robert, Guilty not able to contribute for so long. Kudos to all of you for keeping the torch burning along While you are making the next release, check to see if there is any old SQL construct set used to check if a record exists before choosing to insert or update record(s) in a table. The REPLACE syntax has been a time saver for me in recent work although every field needs to be addressed in the REPLACE - caveat - cannot be applied if only some fields ned to be UPDATEd but all (and possibly different other) fields neeed to be in the INSERT. Thanks for this advice. I have seen it and it works for me as well. I also see the risk of it but so far we had not recognise any issue here. Any chance of using views along the way? Well, yes. But this is another story. Anyway: Views offers many opportunities. Some individual changes for hospitals used views to prepare data in the way they need for their own reporting. Also I did it for an specific BIRT reporting need for an hospital here. Most of the challenges for care2x is that it has to cover the existing requirements of an used workflow. The current version of care2x works really fine with mysql. For the next version(s) of care2x we think to be having more flexibility for another databases as well. Mysql is working here also on enterprise level for me really fine but there are also critics out there about mysql - so I would suggest to keep that open if possible. It sounds more easy than it is. Especially for standard reporting, views can help here to present data in a valid way. So for DQL queries it could bring some benefit to come along with individual views. For productive database sets, such where DML queries will be used, it is much more difficult to use views in a valid way and must be handled with care. Mysql (and several other candidates of simple DBMS) does not have the schemabinding concept like Oracle and MS-SQL and views itself cannot check for dependencies and might disallow any modification what would violate the data integrity. Re: [Care2002-developers] roadmap to care2x 3.0 up to its first release candidate (beta)
Hi Antas, Thank you very much for your first contribution here since long time by having that lovely rude concepts like we know you. And I think as long as you contributing in that way we seem to be on the right track. About your points: You seemed not follow the development over the last years nor you seems to have any concept so far. But let me bring it to the point: * There is no intention to prevent developers - quite the opposite is given * Care2x_tz had not been stopped - the concept of 3.0 will help them out of some issues. * You might not know the details neither following the development over the years - but the modularisation is what I wrote, isn't it? The other points of your mail seem confused and contain simple acts of senseless provocations like we used to have it from you. But I have too much work here than wasting time on argue on it as long I cannot feel that there would be a productive outcome. But maybe you could give essential basis on your statements, then you might get attention from my side again. Hi Kambey, Yes, that is what I thought is the problem. We fixed all the PHP 5.x issues but you have PHP 5.3 or higher using by the latest xmapp, right? I do not have now my VM's up and running to check ( I am working here on Ubuntu 10.04.3 LTS). Please open your php.ini and look for the tag error_reporting. Try it with: error_reporting = E_ALL ~E_DEPRECATED And you should not have the warnings of depreciated. I guess it is on your system set to E_ALL. Restart then your apache and give it a try. Hi Mayala, we had not started the discussion on framework basis. :D First aim: gettext - how to morph the existing 2.7 into a layer technology that the code structure will have a more clear character. Many many thanks to Gjergj about his hard work on this step! You can take a look at the branch gettext what is planned. Aim: When there is a new version rolling out - then it must be possible to upgrade from 2.7 and its database structure. All other solutions are not acceptable. That will have the need now for detailed prepared steps before focusing framework. Re: [Care2002-developers] phpbugs (depreciated)
Hi Israel, okay, I replaced now the ereg with another (valid) function preg_match and changed the syntax. Now it should cover at least that depreciated funtion. Maybe there are more? I am not sure why it had not raised up here but it is absolutely true... this ereg is depreciated. [Care2002-developers] PHP 5.3.5
Hi, I just testing out the latest PHP 5.3.5 and how it will work with care2x. There are still some depreciated declared functions been used and if you want to continue that fix you're warm welcome. Maybe some of you scares how I am doing it, but when some of you having a better solution please give an feedback. My current situation is that I do not want to change the current PHP version what I have running here (Several other projects needs that config as well as the framework and zend server I have installed here). I thought the most easy solution would be to use lampp from apachefriends.org. I downloaded it and installed it. I created an folder under its httpdocs and mounted it with bind option: mount --bind path to source path to target Just the db I have to install on this lamp to avoid side effects by mysql issues - but the benefit now is that I just have one folder for svn to use with different PHP versions. Re: [Care2002-developers] db table scheme correction, WAS: Lab test request error
Hi Mayala, I just droppe'd some tables out what sounds extremely like working copies from someone and definitely not been used any more. I have not tested that well so far but I will do it. So far I am now just involved to bring here for that branch an working release out that it will work even under PHP 5.3.5 (what seems really critical now). That mean - no eregi and no session_register or any other session_* function in the code. For that we will also look to protect the files in a different way that it can't be called directly like the former eregi use was given there quite often in the files. I just had this morning a discussion with Gjergj how to solve it. I will give a standard feature like [...] defined('C2XROOT') or die( 'Restricted access' ); [...] ... or something similar ... a try. But that will come later when I have some other tasks changed to solved from my track ;-) @Muthu, I do not know if you're following that discussion - but I know that you are also involved to J! development - and they doing it in that way. Do you have any ideas for that brainstorm? Re: [Care2002-developers] Care2002-developers Digest, Vol 55, Issue 14
Hi Hassan, I think I will go with Gjergj. Lets keep it simple. If the hospital needs advanced BI reporting, then they can make a choice between Jasper reports and Pentaho. I have tried iReports with Python and its quite easy if you understand how databases work. In our experience so far, most hospital may not the resource personnel to work complex BI tools. You're right. BI tools are complex, or sort of. There would might be a new role inside the IT of an hospital been there who prepares data up to report. That is the reason to look deeper into Agatha as well. Anyway, in all cases: individual reports will have always the need that you know the database structure and what attributes are given to get the required report. I was just looking around the corner if someone here did that reports with Jasper, Pentaho, etc. Thanks Robert -- -- CARE2X - free Integ Hospital Info System https://sourceforge.net/projects/care2002/ http://www.care2x.org -- Special Offer-- Download ArcSight Logger for FREE (a $49 USD value)! Re: [Care2002-developers] jasper-reports
Hi, Now we come closer to my idea. Pentaho conception independent BI application inside of an facility and connecting any kind of databases - but BIRT, Jasper has also the conception of been connected with applications (on Java level). I just spend some time in reading documentations yesterday night and this kind of pseudo-php-language rised up in my mind: ?php [...] $JClass = new JavaClass(JasperCompileManager); $MyReport = $sJcm-compileReport($path.jrxml-file); [...] $FM = new JavaClass(JasperFillManager); $print = $FM-fillReport(things to fill up); [...] $MyReportManager = new JavaClass(JasperExportManager); $MyReportManager-exportReportToPdfFile(output); [...] ? ...do you smell my vision? But before going deeper into these details I thought to ask here if anybody just tried what goes around in my mind. Hi Mayala, There is an installer, but I don't think that this is working. There is a bit work to do before it would be called to release it. You have to install the database manually and change the include/inc_init_main.php manually as well. If you have time for that till tomorrow I will show you how this is working. The next steps on that version is that it will have the latest changes of Tanzanian programmer (almost Denis Mollel) and that the installation functionality is given again. I am focus that work here a bit to higher priority in the next days. I think that such fully integration of billing mechanism is needed also by other users here. [Care2002-developers] 2011 will come now!
Dear all, Thanks all for that fantastic year! I do hope that you all enjoyed it. Thanks to the main developers and the very dedicated partners and supporter for this project. Well, it is a great year what we have now. We have fixed up the main trunk and released it. That was one of the biggest milestones and now we are working even on a new release. Maybe you recognized that Gjergj did again bigger commits on the gettext branch, it is a bit more than a research he mostly did. Most of the modules are reorganized and becoming more and more a real modular aspect. This will be the next step, our challenge of the Year 2011. Care2x will be more flexible, more scalable and much more easy to - run the program for any purpose, - study how the program works, and change it to make it do what you wish, - redistribute copies so you can help your neighbour and - improve the program, and release your improvements (and modified versions in general) to the public, so that the whole community benefits. So care2x the once and only real Free and Open Source Hospital Information System all around the world. Thanks also to all who helped us to get a fancy new project website. I do hope that you all feel well that I can't name all by name - there are so many people around this planet who supporting this project by ideas, suggestions and even manpower. It is nearly impossible to name all. But who is reading this mailing lists knows all the name. A much better speaker than me said once in his New Year speech: May your best days of the previous year are the worst of the next year I will let these words here as it is, I can't say it better. My best wishes to you all and thanks to be a part of you all. [Care2002-developers] XP: Re: [Care2002-users] Bug in patient Admission
Hi Willa, Thanks a lot. I will xpost your information it to the developer's list as well. I will keep you informed about the fix. Thanks Robert Am Donnerstag, den 23.12.2010, 11:51 +0300 schrieb willa: I have discovered several bugs in the system. 1. Patient admission handled by aufnahme_start.php file located in registration_admission module. When admitting a patient as inpatient,it is required to select a ward to send him/her from a drop down list. However in order to render the available wards the system forces the ward_nr from records pulled from database to be in cur_ward_nr array which happens to contain 0 everytime admission is started, So always the system does not have anything to render in the corresponding drop down list. I am not sure why this condition is enforced here while during registration a patient is not assigned any ward in the first place. The situation is the same when a patient is to be admitted as an outpatient, i.e. department_nr is checked against a cur_dept_nr array leading to the same result. Below is a snippet of code which has this bug(line no 20 below) 1# If no encounter nr or inpatient, show ward/station info, 1 = inpatient 2 if( $encounter_class_nr == 1 ) { 3 4 if ($errorward||$encounter_class_nr==1) $smarty-assign('LDWard',font color=red$LDPavijon/font); 5 $smarty-assign('LDWard',$LDWard); 6 $sTemp = ''; 7 if($in_ward){ 9 while($station=$ward_info-FetchRow()){ 10 if(isset($current_ward_nr)($current_ward_nr==$station['nr'])){ 11$sTemp = $sTemp.$station['name']; 12$sTemp = $sTemp.'input name=current_ward_nr type=hidden value='.$current_ward_nr.''; 13break; 14} 15} 16}else{ 17$sTemp = $sTemp.'select name=current_ward_nr'; 18if(!empty($ward_info) $ward_info-RecordCount()){ 19while($station=$ward_info-FetchRow()){ 20 /*if(in_array($station['dept_nr'],$current_dept_nr))*/ { 21$sTemp = $sTemp.'option value='.$station['nr'].' selected ' . $station['name'].'/option'; 22} 23} 24} 25$sTemp = $sTemp.'/select 26font size=1img '.createComIcon($root_path,'redpfeil_l.gif','0','',TRUE).' '.$LDForInpatient.'/font'; 27} 28$smarty-assign('sWardInput',$sTemp); 2. When user tries to cancel an admission, he is required to fill in full name and password. First of all it should not show a message Enter full name because what is required is login name and second when the system prompts for the password, it is echoed as plain text which compromises the security of the user in question. Re: [Care2002-developers] SVN 6929-6930
Hi Muthu, You're absolutely right. I installed this trunk on a test server and I got an message that pear.php was missing (adodb error message). I looked to the repository and the folder pear was empty - just crypt folder exists. pear is also a folder in adodb and I had to test out why it is there or not. So I added pear again and tested again - the easiest way was to commit the files and I had no change. I am still exploring that issue and just droped out the files, it was not the issue. Any standard installation of apache comes with --with-pear and in that case there is no issue with adodb. If that flag is not given, adodb comes with the message that pear is missing. All in all it seems to be an adodb issue and I will look that this issue might be fixed with next version of adodb. Gjergj suggested in follow up versions of care2x to change adodb with ORM like doctrine. Well... there are more changes coming by next year and you are also right in your point that there should be only one trunk. We are using current trunk now to find out fixes what comes out of test and evaluation period. So like the radiology update I posted here some days before. When we have a couple of fixes we will serve then a new release and an update fix (maybe in the way how Joomla does it... just files what must be replaced). Il cane che si morde la coda - like the Italian say. We can think about to use pear in long run for that update ideas and there is no decision so far, just ideas to serve a HIS framework what can be updated as easy as possible. Re: [Care2002-developers] suggestion of table change
Hi Muthu, I am not so sure that it is really a legacy issue. Nearly all hospitals I've visited they have either their own HIS and want to use care2x from a specific point or they use it side-by-side. But in all cases they will continue their numbering format what is always historical based and care2x has to work with it and I do not think that they will change it one day. If it can be NULL in that way I have some doubts, but let see what it will bring for results from the reality. But the indexing of that table is not really funny. Better would be a unique key over pid, alt_pid, the birth date, first name, last name and registration timestamp instead of having index for each column. That could have good benefits when this table will be joined afterwards with other tables (avoiding of full table scans). Re: [Care2002-developers] suggestion of table change
Hi Muthu, No worry - it is just developer's discussion :-) Here I do have the same issue. A hospital here wants to have our care2x for researches but want to keep their own (historical) HIS up and running. Just for some view forms in a specific department they want link it with care2x that they can do some (complex) customary work. There are some specific issues to be solve but I am lucky to able this kind of transferring the data with an PDI job once a day by a script. ( will send you the pdi pattern if you want and if it would help you ) But exactly what you mention in your mail is the aim we all have. Flexibility and gerneric. Robert Am Dienstag, den 02.11.2010, 19:00 +0530 schrieb Ap.Muthu: Hi Robert, The field name can be what you suggested - what I put in was a little generic. I certainly want you to be happy. In case there are hospitals that do not use the alt_pid field, keeping it NULL would allow them to proceed. Attempting to copy into alt_pid the value in pid if alt_pid is NULL would bring in anomalies and clash with similar numbers in the alt_pid that were not NULL in the first place. Hence the UNIQUEness for alt_pid would have to wait till you decide how to use it when alt_pid is absent (multiple NULL alt_pids should be able to exist). What is now in place is just a place holder. Please give it some thought as to how hospitals starting anew entirely in Care2x would be able to use it alongside with hospitals that intend to use Care2x for only a part of their operations whilst relying on their own HIS for others. Robert Am Montag, den 01.11.2010, 07:47 +0530 schrieb Ap.Muthu: Hi Robert, Isn't this more of a legacy issue. Once the hospital is entirely on Care2x, it will not be necessary. [Care2002-developers] language files
Hi, I just checked the language files, and did some changes. Most of the languages are not complete and I moved all out in a different subversion branch. On care2x itself I just let the languages what seems more and less complete and what are mostly spoken in the world. Are there any out there who could check the languages - Chinese - Russian - Czech - Greek - Turkish - Swahili - Indonesian etc... any other language are warm welcome :-) In case of having knowlede in that languages please contact me or Gjergj. The translation is quite simple to do. Re: [Care2002-developers] language files
Hi Frank, thanks a lot - if you're doing it please make sure that you configure your editor to uft8. Notepad++ under windows as well as eclipse under linux and windows does it quite well (gedit, geany etc. under linux per default). Do you have eclipse configured? If not, I will advice you what kind of add-in's we found out are really helpful. Re: [Care2002-developers] language files
Hi Frank, So we are using the same tools :-) Well, over the years and testing out several things I found out that back to the roots eclipse is the best for doing all the coding work. The best version of eclipse for huge projects is elcipse helios. The preconfigured helios you can find here: http://www.eclipse.org/pdt/downloads/ If you had used before another eclipse it would be the best to delete the .metadata folder in your working folder (What I have set here on /var/www in my ubuntu workstation). Then you might avoid some strange behaviour in your new download. If you have already helios pdt in use, you can leave it as it is. In eclipse itself you still have to add the plug in for subversion. Here you might have two options where you have to decide either or but you can't use booth. Take a look at the Eclipse Marketplace, what is a quite excellent modification on that release of eclipse what makes easy to downland and install new add-in's. The subversion connector I am using here is subclipse. I know that some developers out there falling in love with subversive - but decide by your own. In some small conclusion: subclipse is more rustical, but slow. subversive is fast, but somehow not that rustical. (My feeling, but I make no religion out of it). After you installed it by the marketplace you have to restart your eclipse and then open the perspective SVN Repository Exploring. Some words on that step now about java. Best experiences we made is to use the SUN JRE (if you have the option to use even JDK, then add it as well). It is much faster than the open runtime what comes by default with ubuntu. Hopefully no one from ubuntu here is reading along as well, but that is my impression :-) If you will get an error that javaHL is missing or a message like Failed to load JavaHL Library, just install it now by sudo apt-get install libsvn-java In some -really seldom cases- it still has issues. Sorry for that... but in case that might still not working then check gedit ~/.eclipse/eclipserc and add VMARGS=-Djava.library.path=/usr/lib/jni Just in case that you still have issues. In most cases it works quite after installation from the eclipse marketplace. When you have done it you are in :) That means: Ony the code is missing now on your local pc. Go now on this SVN Repository Exploring perspective and add follwing URL as repository URL: https://care2002.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/care2002 It should show you now three folders: care2utu care2x care2x_tz First one is still there because I got today an information that a team in Kenya uploaded some changes and I do not really know what and where. When I know it - I will delete that folder. Please do not use it. The current development for Tanzanian Version (mostly ELCT hospitals) you can find under care2x_tz. Mauri send a info some days ago here as well on facebook that the team is now starting to work on it. there is a bit more to tell about that kind of version and what we have to do till it can be used here officially. That is just an developer note for you and the other here. care2x folder is your friend. You will find here following folders: trunk, branches, care2x2.6.x_language_packs, logos, tags, trunk. trunk: Representing the current release what will be released today. (Information is coming soon as I have finished that HOWTO here for you) ;-) branches: There is e.g. the gettext version where we are working parallel. It follows a new way of handling translations as well as some on experimental level of modularisation. You can try it out... it is 100% compatible with the database of trunk but has several new innovations in it. pre-pre-pre alpha status. I moved out of trunk all translations now out to an different folder till they are complete. If you have done the Swahili and confirmed then we move it back to the main release. By the way.. for all the other languages we would need people like you who will be looking for. We are good, but not that good that we speak all the languages available here. Okay.. when you look now to the folder care2x2.6.x_language_packs you will find a sub-folder called sw what representing the Swahili translation files. You can either check just this folder out by right click and checkout or - in case you have the option to let the computer running all night long - check out all by making a right click on care2x. Takes much longer - but then you have it all. The first check out brings all the files to your computer. Then just the changes. Maybe some information now in that email you already know - but I thought it might also be interesting for the others here as well. Please feel free any time if you have any questions Robert Am Donnerstag, den 21.10.2010, 15:31 +0300 schrieb Frank Tilugulilwa: I have eclipse installed but I mostly use geany, gedit and netbeans. Hi all, since several years now - and with the help of Gjergj, Muthu, Mauri, Claudio .. and all the others here in the group - we can present a new download release for care2x. It has the version 2.6.27. Well done - many thanks to all here to support that great project. I think there will be now more often new releases coming.
