Hi listers -
Basic setup - ARS 9x - ITSM 9 on Linux
only know of one server-specific setting that would cause a difference and
that is the "Use FTS in Workflow". But it is set the same on both servers.
Is there anything else any of you can think of that would cause this to behave

where the underlying forms
are already indexed.
Do this - you won't be sorry! Make sure you know what your custom (if any)
FTS/MFS indexes are before you start though.

You can't upgrade - as far as I know - from 7.6.03 to 8.1.
You first have to upgrade to 7.6.04 - but prior to that you have to do the

something that it really can't handle.

I routinely use AR Log Analyzer as well.
There's a python version that gives you some more detail, and I use that one
as well when I'm troubleshooting performance problems. You can find it here:

.
After you've been through it a few times it's pretty straight forward.
Also - are you having separate MT boxes? Or are they on the same box as the
servers? That can add some complexity depending on how you're doing it etc.

John -
You're right - a custom solution is pretty easy, but it kind of proves my
point: there's no easy way to do it with the BMC tools.

I've seen instances where users are locked up but the admin threads work (and
vice versa). So it's not the same test really as connecting as a user.
