I also never saw your original post on Lydia, so I don't know what her
condition is or what led you to have these tests to begin with. My Fuji had an
HCT of 17 about 8 weeks ago. I was very concerned she would need a
transfusion. She has since bounced back and hasn't had the anemia since.
My Fuji absolutely refuses to take pills. However, the last few days I've
added lysine to her wet food and she has been eating it pretty well!

My cat tested negative at 6 weeks old. She did not go out until she was 8
months old. Even then she rarely if ever came in contact with another cat. She
was only out for very short periods close by the house. She never came home
showing signs of a fight.
Looking back at her medical history,
I agree completely. My 18mo old female with cancer who receives chemo has
accepted the kitten since day one. When she doesn't feel like playing she
patiently lets him know. When he doesn't back of she makes it quite clear she
doesn't want to play! I've felt like she acts like a momma kitty.
Oh, this makes me so terribly sad. I know some of you will step up and help if
you are able. Boy has it been an education being a part of this group. My two
FeLV babies were accidents. Both negative when adopted, later testing
positive. My Fuji has survived with mediastinal lymphoma for 8
