I'll blame that spelling error on MS Outlook 2007 as that is what I used to compose and spell checked the message with. It prompted me to correct the spelling for Muhammed, which I did, and after you pointed it out I noticed it gave me the incorrect spelling in this case. The spelling is correct, but not for this particular Muhammed. So as Bryan said even with a spell checker you do need to sometimes proofread what it corrected to make sure it gave you the correct spelling or variation of that name or word. Not really. The Mobile Speak list is set up that way, same as the GW Micro list. You would have to have the addresses of the list in your address book. If you wanted your replies to go to the list as well as the sender, you just press ctrl+shift+r and it's sent to both parties. As well as a built in joystick button mapper so that you may map your joystick for your preference. * Temple 2 is now in the works. Why not make it when the player falls off the ladder, he looses health points. Depending on how high the player is on the ladder would make the health points differences up. If you die falling off a ladder, then yes, it has thrown people. That simply isn't realistic. How about the metal ladder's sound? Did they even have metal ladders in the sixteenth century? Why not make it a wooden ladder. They definitely had wood back then. For falling off the ladder, if you get health points deducted, it would be even more realistic. I implore the AG developers out there to do the same. Even the most well produced shoott 'em up is still only going to be another tired old shoot 'em up with the same basic game play that we've all seen over and over. In my opinion, as developers, we can do more, and as purchasers of these games, we should ask for more. I think Rail Racer will be embraced by the accessible gaming community, but not because of any particular skill or know how I have as a beginner programmer, but because it is a solid and well thought out idea that has been well executed. The only thing keeping us from developing novel game ideas is our creativity, and I for one will vigorously support any developer that dares to push the envelope. For example, I certainly hope Thomas runs with his concept of the Star Wars game. He has ideas for this game that simply haven't been seen before, and I think the effort put into creating this title will pay off both in customer appreciation and game sales. Please note that this is in no way a slam of platform games, or shoot 'em ups, or any other genre of games people enjoy. If that is what you like to play, more power to you, all I am saying is I think we can sharpen our creative edges a bit, and I feel the gamers out there will greatly appreciate the effort. If you feel like exploring some more after finding a stairs, you can do that to. When you want to go down to the next level but you are not near the stairs, you can press the period key on your keyboard and it will give you directions on getting back to that down staircase, and likewise with the stairs up using the cama key. If you are having trouble trying to explore every inch of the dungeon, the slash key on your keyboard will give you directions to the next unexplored space. It will give you directions similar to the down/up stairs key. You know you are done with exploring the level when you press the slash key, and you no longer get directions. It doesn't necessarily mean that there are no monsters to fight, but it does let you know that there is no spaceleft unexplored. You can thank the various religious groups for the thinking I conveyed in my previous message, mainly, the Baptists. I grew up going to all kinds of churches and getting confused by the differing messages I heard. One says you're going to hell because you're listening to rock music, the other said when you die, you are in limbeau, and you're waiting to find out your fate in eternity. What is right? [Audyssey] Monkey Business not playing the warning steps
I am having an issue with Monkey Business on Level 4 with the warning steps you hear just before you go over the edge not playing. I have updated Direct X to 10, my Sound Blaster X-Fi drivers to the latest, chosen headphones and 2-2.1 speakers for the speaker layout, and uninstalled and reinstalled Monkey Business, but I am still not able to hear the sound I need to navigate. the walk-through is a bust, since the steps seem to be out of order. ---Anybody else have this issue? I get on the train at 5, get home at 5:45. I check email, then collapse. I'm not exactly sure what the future will look like for LWorks. It is possible the company may only need me part time, but.. For right now. I'm going in on a daily basis. I will do the best I can to update existing games, and do what I need to do. But it's goign to be rough on me. There is something that I thought of while reading through this thread. Everybody seems to be hung up on spending all this money for something that's been done in the past, but what about an future? I know I'm doing a taboo by adding to this off topic thread, but I thought this to be important. I used to work for Freedom Scientific as front line tech support. I first started out by performing my duties as a contractor in 2005. This was in part due to voc rehab sending me down to Florida for classes offered by Freedom Scientific to get my business off the ground. To make a long story short, I worked as a contractor for about a year, then actually moved to St. Petersburg to work in-house. In May of 2008, I was cut due to economic reasons. Florida is a right to work state, so FS can do any damn thing they want to justify letting someone go, which they did without batting an eyelash. Since May of 2008, I have been pounding the virtual and actual pavement looking for jobs, and it is now April 2013, and I still have no job. I have since moved back to Georgia to take care of my dad after my mom passed away in February 2011. Dad died in January of this year. I didn't stop looking for jobs. I can't tell you how many times I have applied for Apple since I've moved back to Augusta, and still am applying. I have also applied to quite a few other companies and have received canned responses saying my resume will be filed and kept for 6 months or whatever. Ken, don't feel bad man! I'm not a massage therapist, but I understand where you're coming from. Trouble, I have been in your situation ten years ago, and I know how you feel. I worked for a call center, and the company contracted with Cox communications. We had it set up for a scripter to come in and set up JAWS for working with the software. Cox gave some BS reason that they didn't want outsiders looking at their customers' data. Ever heard of mock data? Anyway, that went to the Justice Department, but nothing was gained from that. It's rough not able to find work, work you are capable of doing! For whatever reason, employers seem to have blinders on when it comes to us. Some days are good, some days are rough in dealing with the fact that all you have is SSI and no retirement. I just try to keep plugging along. It sure doesn't help that I'm 40 years old to boot!
