older release of the XNA Framework. Try updating to the latest XNA 3

My concern is how easy it is to lose a limb. It's very realistic.
Trust me. The problem is that if you get a decent hit on your head,
you're pretty much incapable of doing anything about it. Since there's
also only one kind of armor, you can't wear things to protect your
limbs, either.

Yes, the first fights are rough because you start with no equipment. That'll
change in the next build. Losing limbs should probably be more traumatic
than it is, and there needs to be a way to reattach them without a healer.

fights, you are generally going to be ok, but the first couple of
fights are always evil.
Also, could you make a potion to reattach broken limbs? The healers
are fine, but a fighter with no arms is kind of useless.

A lot of the keys in the readme don't work. I tried to do what
it said during combat, but it doesn't work.

That one actually installed itself when I downloaded the latest
alpha version.

I downloaded it, but it keeps generating a Microsoft error
report. I think all the components are installed, and I'm
reluctant to fiddle with the thing if it's going to be stubborn.

but you are right we really need to list version info somehow.
saying that you can rename the file yourself.
its probably easier for jason to upload a replacement of the setup.
after all he would have to delette the old file and stuff t save bandwidth.
