IS there a way to prevent the “place a hold” link from showing up in the
public catalog, everywhere?? We want it so ONLY show up on items that fill
our hold requirement – those items that are checked out or NOT available.
We have set the proper condition in the Library Settings to

This is very very bad. The ONE very great thing about the current Evergreen
IS the batch item editor. Bar none. If it goes away, or is unusable, that is
a disaster!
Please make sure this is fixed. It is such a great tool and we rely on it
almost weekly for this purpose.
Check your settings in Firefox and or IE. I have noticed that Evergreen pulls
the defaults from browser settings. Causes all kinds of trouble if you don't
know how they are set.
Change those and you will find it will be better. :)

The other alternative is to do what we have done. Just change the item / copy
record to have a circulation modifier for 1 hour, 2 hour etc and make the
coordinating changes in your circulation policies table. We also changed each
item to reside in a new location / collection called
1 - 100 of 120 matches
