Do you know what could be the problem?
I got the problem when upgrading to 2.10.06.
In
I was doing a manual restart of QLMS and I noticed a few cosmetic
issues.
There is still a grep command using a parameter not supported
Code:
Starting LogitechMediaServer in the Background.

Bonjour / avahi support
Could you have a look if you can get this working again so that Spotty
can Announce players on the local network. As of now there are some
conflict so Spotty automatically disables this.
Or do I have to do something on my system?
We discussed this before and I got this
@Digimaster
I thought i do some maintenance as I'm just hanging around at home in
these Corona-times...
I saw the 2.10.6 upgrade available on Qnap club, I was on 2.10.2
before.
I proceeded with the upgrade but was stuck on 80% for hours.
So I did a restart of my qnap.
-QLMS did not start by it

How can I downgrade to 7.9.2?
QLMS upgrade me to 8.0.0 without asking on the upgrade.
I believe its custom clock helper that is not 8.0.0 compatible.

Thanks!
Now I'm back in business again.
I was a bit worried that I had to redo all my settings there, but
Imanaged to get it all back.
However I learned some potential pitfalls.
I apparently had nomajor=0 and whenever I was to do a manual restart
that would have triggered the 8.0 upgrade.

I'm running latest nightly for LMS 8.2.0 (using QLMS solution form my
qnap NAS).
Lately one of my SB3 player started to disconnect from the system.
I have one more that works fine.
After some tinkering I can get it to be listed in the LMS UI, but as

Somehow this were related to another player, I had a BOOM in another
room that were in a disconnect state.
After rebooting that player (long press on the power button) both
players are now as good as ever.
Very odd... no clue what could have caused this.

@digimaster I asked many time before about avahi/bonjour support, today
I found a sections in the Server Discovery about Bonjour.
There where several settings there, which bonjour-services needs to be
enabled to do Spotify connect on the local network?
Are there other prerequisites as well?
By the way, I have som trouble running QLMS from Putty.
And starting QLMS service takes a really long time know, or finishing
the script takes long the service starts quickly.
But if I end Putty before finishing the script then LMS stops/crash.
I get a bunch of warnings that the commands are

@Digimaster
It seems like we are a few with an older version of BusyBox not
supporting your the commands you run in QLogitechMediaServer.sh.
Would it be possible to somehow make use QOptware-NG, I have it
installed but I don't know what it takes to QLogitechMediaServer.s to
running Grep and

I'm not the most qualified to answer that, I would explain it as the
"service" that interprets the commands in the command prompt.
The older versions do not support all arguments used in the
