OK, wierd question!

I have a family member who send me an email and when there is an attachment all I get is winmail.dat in the attachemnts area, can anyone help or explain this to me? He says everyone else has no problem and he did not even know what SeaMonkey was? L e e

I get mail from a cousins husband and he sometimes sends pictures and stuff but I can never open it and in the attachment area all I see is winmail.dat and that is it. I am using Vista and SeaMonkey 1.1.15. He apparently is using a MS mail program. Outlook? Any comments tips or help? L e e

Lost some of my mail

Could anyone give give me a hint where to look for some emails that have disappeared from Sea Monkey? When I closed down I had about 45 emails in the in folder and when I started up the next day I had only 5 new emails. Any tips would help. Thanks and Merry Christmas. Lee

AT&T change over

Anyone using Seamonkey since AT&T changed their setup just recently. I can get my mail through their browser but not Seamonkey. I am in Jacksonville, Florida. Here are the only instructions I could find as they do not recognize Seamonkey. I can get my newsgroup files I can also send out email

Well I followed the instructions provided by Peter P. and Rostyk and am now able to receive email but cannot send. Just went through about 1/2 hour with AT&T CSR with negative results, deleted SeaMonkey and reinstalled with no luck. I can use the browser no problem I can receive email no problem
