When I leave TB open for a while, it doesn't seem to update its inbox listing
automatically when new messages arrive on the server. If I select another
folder, then select the inbox again, it updates the index for the folder and
displays a bunch of new messages.
I haven't yet determined what
about this, but you beat me to it. TB!
should at least use two connections: one to respond to my input and the
other to do syncing, etc.

OK - I have an IMAP account now.
I have set it up in The Bat on two computers.
In Tne Bat I have the usual sub-folders.
The IMAP account has similar but not the same exactly folders.
If I look at the IMAP account through webmail I have two messages in
Inbox, 1 in SENT and 1 in trash

, my count goes to 1 when I select the folder and then if I

corrects itself to what it should be.

have a good idea of how TB!'s IMAP works when compared to other

implemented. It sort of defies the point of IMAP if it doesn't work for

software), I had to change the email address I used for the list, my only alternative
being to one that only supported IMAP. This was quite a pain, because TB! did not
auto-filter incoming IMAP mail

Has anyone here been able to copy their messages from an old POP
account to an IMAP server? I can't seem to be able to do it. I tried
when tb! 2.0 first came out, and couldn't get it to work, so I filed a
bug report, which was then closed saying that it works. But if I go to
my old POP
