I suggest that you put a write trigger on the file that would call a universe
program that emails you everytime the file is written to. You would need to
write the program the trigger calls to send tbe email but if you can send
emails from the os then you can also send emails from universe but
to 10 minutes minimum.
I have an open ticket with Rocket Software about indexes failing after
7.3.2. I had a similar problem and reduced my version from 7.3.4 to
7.3.2.

CentOS) with ZERO issues, now granted I am using this personally with
the personal edition of universe, the one issue you would have would be

I have installed BDT as a plug-in on Juno SR2. I found no problems with it
even when using our XLr8 plug-ins. I like it better than the stand alone
because I can use a java 1.7 instead of 1.6 and I can use current Eclipse
4.1 instead of 3.5.

I too once did this with basically the same results (except that it did
tons of reads/writes so I had to let it finish) and in my case the
system was darn near dead of most of the day, needless to say I too was
scarred for life and would/will never do a concurrent resize during
business hours

I was able to load it into centOS with no problems, sadly I don't use
fedora/ubuntu or opensuse (centos is the open source version of redhat
enterprise which is what I would recommend you use, IMHO)
having said that my gut feeling is that the library is on the system in
a location the system d

With the holidays we did not get out the normal releases and fixes our XLr8
tools customers have been waiting for. However, we have a few things that
got updated. We are especially proud of the fact we have updated the code

Thanks for this tip on NAP, The documentation does say it sleeps for
milliseconds. I tried it and it works.
RQM for UniData says it does the same as sleep.
Well 1/2 of the problem solved! Still looking or a UniData answer.
