Is there any reason why pCP 6.0.0-b1 shouldnt work in a Pi3B?
I have it working well on a Pi4 but when I image the card (using
Win32DiskImager) and put it in the 3B I cant get the network disk to
mount. It mounts perfectly on the 4 but not on the 3 even though the
settings are identical

That was a clue. Thanks! Old browser and old OS. Switched to a different
computer and it worked. Don't know why it worked with pcP 5.0.

Many thanks Man in a van. Some how I managed to miss that I needed to be
in Beta mode to configure the Dac. missed that. I saw the Dac listed,
albeit differently than what I was used to in Advanced mode and went for
it.

Is there a way of seeing what the CPU load is at any given point within
PCP. I can see the CPU temperature (under diagnostics) but it would be
good to see how hard the CPU is working at the same point? I'm thinking
along the lines of Max2Play which shows the CPU load in conjunction with
the tempe
I read that the other day. It's amazing what think they
deserve..when they paid absolutely nothing for it.
I'll do what I can to keep it supported for pCP. I really don't like
the other solutions.

Hi I use max2play for the LMS part of my network and it has always
worked well . I have always struggled to picoreplayer to work as my LMS
my issue I find it hard to get my USB HD mounted so that LMS can find
the music files . I know that this is just my issue and it could be

I don't think idle was expected to change much. I saw a pretty big
change under heavy load and lots of disk activity.

We are gradually moving all log files to /var/log
[Main Page] > [Diagnostics] > [Logs] displays the log files. The log
page actually collects some logs that aren't in /var/log and also
generates a few logs itself.

Indeed that is fast at 2K songs per minute it is twice as fast as my
initial test;
6K songs on local usb3 disk @ 6 minutes => 1K songs a minute

I connected a recent backup to the Pi now - it's a 4TB WD red (7200rpm)
drive that contains about 130,000 FLAC files.
Complete, initial scan took just

Got piCorePlayer up and running on my RPi4, installed LMS and created a
mount to an external USB disk
Went into LMS and got it to do a scan
It found c350 folder, but no MP3s
Tried various different things (reboots etc) and then PCP s

I've figured out what stops my sbpd command line from working, but not
why. When I add the command line parameter to specify the address of
the server, the command fails, and none of the buttons work. I've tried

I've now configured the 4B to replicate my 3B+, ready to switch it over
into my amplifier enclosure. I have 9 buttons, each with a short and
long press, so I have quite a long string to define all the button
commands in sbpd:

Very nice. Any plans on integrating a 7" screen? Anyway, will wait for
